ROFL

I think this is a good sign I've had my fair share of Sims 2 this time around and need to get on with TS3 or TS4. I'm thinking 4 because I've found so much cc I want to give a whirl!

A lot of the ts2 creators came back for ts4 as it is a lot of handpainted cc... at least they don't seem to have issues with having their items converted to ts4...

ts4 is a lot more stable of a game; however, I cannot do all the cool build things available in ts2 or ts3.

I've played all three games. I've always had a soft spot for TS2, probably always will. I'm not a creator, or good at meshing, or any of that, but its so much fun just to throw stuff around and see how it comes out. I think the lag in TS3 (and the Sims themselves) are a big reason I haven't spent much time in that game. I've been missing TS4, though!

I think the cc for ts2 is simply exquisite... but, I have really found ts4 to be fun... much more than I thought (mostly, I think, because the game is so stable).

A stable game makes a playable game which is a good game in my opinion. If Maxis ever comes out with a Sims 5 I hope they spend a lot of time on the quality instead of quantity.

Eaxis is what it is... if they were fantabulously awesome, there would be nothing for all of our amazing creators to do...

...I attempt to look at the bright side, LOL!!!

It depends which game for me. For Sims 1 I was both, I would spend hours building a house from an architect floor plan (great ideas for houses with just a bit of modifying to get them to look right in game) and then decorating them. Sims would move in have families. Send them off to downtown or old town, It was great fun!

Sims 2 I did play a bit but mostly decorating and for Sims 3 and 4 it was just decorating

Sims 5 better be more like Sims2 or angry use that rolling pin on them thlol well maybe with a little bit of Sims3..the only thing I liked about Sims3 was that you can travel with them downtown..and still play the house if anyone else was in it..

Thank you so much Crissi, it's beautiful

I'm more of a decorator than a player though I do enjoy playing as well. I'm actually quite the cataloger. I like to collect and organize custom content. I have folders for different themes and favorites.

I like to make my house as realistic as possible so I also like to add a lot of "clutter". You need the decor that makes it look lived in rather than a museum piece or interior design showcase.

I always want to be a player but I find myself being more of a decorator. But usually it really depends on my mood smile201

It's been awhile since I've posted in this thread...

I'm definitely a builder/decorator/landscaper vs. a player :D

If you all are picture takers (I know you are, lol), please do create a member portfolio here. You can post your pictures so we can all see <3

If you are a story creator/legacy player, there is a spot for that, too. When Lisa (Tilly) suggested I create a portfolio to share my build pictures, it is how I became an active member here and I am so glad I did!

I am more of a decorator than player. I can spend hours decorating. There's so many ways you can decorate many rooms that it never gets boring to me. It's also very therapeutic for me. :Spring2

Equal. I decorate for a long time getting everything perfect then I let the family play until I decide to spruce things up again

Oh yes Lina! Make a portfolio. I've seen so many beautiful photos in our portfolios. Though I haven't made one yet. I don't play the game nearly as much as I'd like to add new content. giggle
