I'm so glad I'm not alone, LOL!

My current ts4 game has 23+gb in the Mods folder...

...no husband or boyfriend, but my sons laugh at me all the time for downloading so much...

Downloading is fun! But I get lost when my folder is too big. So I change content often and "rediscover" lovely items I had, but never saw or forgot to use after I installed it.

But then I do have my favourites, and they stay in my mods folder forever!

I know how it is. I was looking for links to Sam (Broom Hilda) and found lots of new things that I may need or not ... It's probably more must have, can be good to have some time.

Pinterest is such a random cache of all the things I never knew I needed until I saw them. I've spent the last hour or two sorting through cc there and have about twelve tabs open in a window so I didn't lose anything. giggle

Pinterest is my go-to for literally everything. If I can't find what I'm looking for there, well, I'm screwed.  glasses

I've even added TS3 and TS4 cc to my Sims folders so I can keep track of it when I get back into those games.

You might try Lana CC Finds - that site locates all the new stuff for ts2, ts3, and ts4 :)

I also use a few other sites for ts4. Tumbler is also an awesome place for finding sims cc and following simblers... (all games).

I will also use Google and search, but have to be careful that what I find is actually for my game (ts4) and not get teased thinking something from ts2 or ts3 is for ts4, LOL

LOL! Yes, Google is my enemy sometimes in that regard.

I have pretty much nothing but Simblrs on my Tumblr. Its kind of sad. I don't even post anything any more, I just use it to follow all the Sim blogs there! giggle

Good to know about  Lana CC Finds. I don't think I had that in my follows. ETA: Oh wait, I follow her on Tumblr!  claphands1

I do know what you mean...

I still need to get back to Brazil Mist and finish tracking down the walls/floors/plants/doors/windows/counters/etc -base build stuff- so I can put the lot up here... I've gotten so involved with other things, that I've fallen behind!!! LOL

Well the new contest has started and I am browsing cc for the exterior. I don't have nearly as much for outside as I do interiors. I think I'm going to stick to the more traditional side for this challenge but who knows where I'll be sitting in a few weeks. I may surprise myself!  :snoopycool:

I have downloaded the house, but still has to install it.
I like the shape of the house, and fortunately we may add a porch.... seems like the hose may need one.
I would like to go the traditional way as well, but I have learnt from my past experiences.... I start out with one idea, and end up with something totally different!

I will off course enter a jff entry.

No matter how anyone does this, it is going to be amazing!!!

I am just placing the lot, as I type this (waiting on the game to "build" it, lol)... I'll update later!

Is your game all loaded up, Suzanne? giggle

I'm loading mine after downloaded the from the updated link. I've got a couple of ideas I want to try but we all know how that goes. You start and half the time end up with something completely different!  swear hmmm

Postszanne7000 on Wed Nov 02, 2016 8:03 am

Well... it was all loaded up, then my mouse wheel/sims 3 camera controls decided to bork itself (allows me to move my view around, especially pitch) and I was having a really difficult time trying to adjust to regular sims 4 view/camera controls...

...my left hand doesn't work very well, lol, and I'm all over the place without my usual control! So, I ordered a new mouse, looked to see if anyone else was having the same issue (nope), and downloaded a bunch of Simblr gifts while trying to see what the issue might be. Whew!

So, now I'm going to restart my game while I play around with my latest files. Hopefully, the mouse/camera controls will be working when my game reloads... (pretty please!).

Whenever I create a new game build, I always have to go in and reset the game to fullscreen windowed from plain fullscreen, because it makes my pointer completely disappear! Who knew invisible pointers could be so much fun!

Anyways, lol... I'm going to restart the game and finish checking the threads and maybe get some sleep sometime later (pain and sleep do not go well together).

Szanne: When reading that you wish to get some sleep and may find it difficult because of pain, my heart nearly stopped! Are you still suffering from pain a lot? I really wished for you to have benefitted with the implant so that you can at least be without pain for the bigger part of a day!

I go see the neurosurgeon to (hopefully) see about approval and scheduling (the VA has to okay it) on November 10... actually getting the full and permanent implant cannot happen soon enough. It really helps with the pain...

...don't worry, though. I've lived with the pain since 2006 (and this upsurge since last year around March), so I'm sort of used to it.

Not a "brave face," just the truth. :D Besides, I have the Sims to keep me busy and my mind occupied, LOL.

Thank you for caring - truly.

I've been very proud of myself today. I have stayed away from all of the Sims sites besides this one, AND I haven't downloaded anything. Maybe I won't need to go to Sims Anonymous after all.  giggle3 giggle3
