You're right, it's shopping alright cherry

So now my mods folder is more crowded than my closets!  And, my closets and "bonus room" over the garage are easier to get stuff out of - hospice second-hand store trips keeps my husband busy laughloud I keep telling myself that I just have to devote time (hours?) to clean out the mods folder....I meditate on that as I d/l even more goodies (geesh) ROFL

I'm 26, nearly 27 and I've been playing the game since my brother brought me Sims 1 when I was a kid! My mom was addicted to it for the longest time but I ended up taking her games when she stopped playing and she was in her late 40's when she stopped

That sounds lovely, araye! That means you have MANY years of playing ahead of you!
Do you only play, or do you prefer decorating?

I do both but mostly decorating and building. Mostly with the intention to play but by the time I finish, I need something new!

Well, I'll be 71 in a few months. Been playing since 1999 with Sims 1, and have all 4 games. I'm so busy doing the updates, I don't get a chance to play as much as I'd like. I can make walls and floors for Sims 1 & 2, but have had no luck with making them for 3 & 4.

Glad there are a number of older players still around!

Oh you two! I am soooo happy to see you here as well, because if I am lucky, and blessed, and live till I am 71, I want to be around here still!
I can not think what I would like to spend my time on more, than playing and creating for the sims.
The two of you give me a lot of courage!
Big hugs to you both...... ( I am 54 and a half!)

LOL! I may try to progress to making pictures for Sims 2 - I did actually do a few of those for Sims 1!

I'm loving this thread so much. It's so amazing to see so many people of so many varieties loving sims as much as I do. I can remember when I was younger and the first sims I ever played was Sims 2 and I was about 9 or 10. Now I'm 21 and I'm always so amazed about how far this universe continues to expand.

The interesting thing about The Sims is it's appeal to all age groups. I've heard of some 3 and 4 players who got Sims 2 because thay wanted that experience!

I agree! I don't know if all games draw in so many different people as The Sims do, since this is what I play, but I don't think they do.

Ginnie I completely agree with you. Once I got a little older I started playing sims on different forums like console and gameboy and things like that before I even knew that it was originally for PC. So it's amazing the things you can find with just a little curiosity.

Got that right. I think there is (was?) a form you could play on an iPad. Ginnie

Oh yes definitely I think it's like TheSims freeplay they've had it out for years I remember playing it when I was like 14 which was like 7 years ago and they still have it out. I haven't played it in a long time. It just takes up so much room on your devices. haha That's why I switched to pc (my laptop). It works pretty great.

I think you're right - the amount of resources it required was unreal. I stick to the pc. Ginnie

I was all about the consoles at first until I discovered the beautiful magic of cc. Now I prefer pc, like I thought I'd be excited about sims 4 on playstation an I wasn't because I already have it haha

I always thought I was an older player at 30 but glad to know there are others out there who enjoy the game just as much!
