Oh no Anita...not winter! We have sunshine today, but a day or so ago, it was bitterly cold. The weather is so unpredictable at the moment :raining:
So yesterday, with lovely sunshine, i washed and polished my car. it was gleaming. as soon as i finished, the skies turned grey and it rained and rained. It rained so hard, the blossom blew off my tree and stuck all over my car! Its a right mess i can tell you, lol angry

Tilly: I was smiling when I read your post..... it so often happens to me as well. My friend and I have started with the saying if we want it to rain we should wash or have our cars washed!!

Today is a little warmer than yesterday. But, I must admit we are still blessed, it almost never snow here, so we don't have minus degrees of more than -4 here where I stay.

In Minnesota, the weather cannot make up its mind. Today it was rainy, thundery and sunny, hot and cold. I had to turn on the heat in the car for a while and then turn on the air conditioner; and my poor son, dressed for "summer" weather had to wear my coat (he is 3, so it was much to big!).

Today in Phoenix it will be between 112-114. May be 116 by the weekend!I have ac on and I am quite content! I find that once it passes 105 it feels the same as at 120. You run all your errands @ 7 am... works like a charm.

Ooh Renee, that is HOT! :summer3: i went to Cairo a few years ago in August and it was over 120. Being a redhead with very fair skin, I had to be soooo careful!

Ah Lorry, you are in the Southern hemisphere as well..... having winter.
Not nice I agree.
We seldom get rain, but when it happens it is icy cold!

Anita we need rain so badly, our dams are very low. Unfortunately with winter here it doesn't always rain, but it can be bitterly cold.

So we are going through the same thing!

Renee - oh my! I heard on the radio last week about the temperature down in AZ. It was a record wasn't it? :summer2:

Here in Minnesota we are kind of spoiled in the summer, if it gets above 90 (32 C) people start complaining it is too hot (seriously we had a heat advisory last weekend and it was in the 80s (29ish C).

So I guess, the weather has been pretty nice lately (if a tad warm for my liking), its better than -20 (-28C)in the winter!! :bluestar:

I believe it hit 122 about 7 years ago.

To all the cold bodies. I am from Boston and it gets mighty cold. What I did was get old knee length socks and put a cup and a half of rice or beans in, tie a knot and microwave for 90 seconds.( Not too long you can get a bad burn if too hot). They contour to your body and stay warm longer. I would sometimes have 2 or 3 going at a time.
