The tragic clown was included in the last stuff pack..... think it was Romantic Garden Stuff Pack.
But it will be fun to see what EA will included for kids to enjoy!

Family fun is back and the tragic clown LOL.I fear there are no better relashionship with parents who don't get the family oriented trait.I remember Miss V destroyed all the time her daughter's dollhouse and it's only her uncle that play with the little one he got the trait.I just hope it
If I could buy the game in a new computer than my current one I probably stick these with Dine out of course.
By the way Easter did you receive my PM?

It sounds like a very nice addition to the game.
I am surprised though, that it follows so close to the Dine Out Game Pack.
The new interaction with the puppet show and the critters sounds very interesting.
Looking forward to it.

I downloaded the Kids Room Stuff last night. Quickly went into game to check out the content.
I am a little disappointed about the furniture. The bed, desk, desk chair and bookcases are very similar, if not close to be exactly what we already have in the game. And then there are about eight new wall decals with the voidcritters on it..... and we already have sooo many decals. The ceiling light is pretty, and the butterflies that be hanged like a painting.

I have checked out the clothes, but nothing too exciting there either.

I read the guide about the collectible cards, and how the game play will follow, and that sounds quite exiting. I will play a little tonight and then give proper feed back.

Then I must admit, I did not buy the Pack for the new content, but for the new game play and interaction the kids can now have. They were quite left out of the picture for long enough and I am looking forward to see what can happen now.

I am yet to find the monster under the bed!

An update:

Tonight while my little sim girl was sleeping, she startled awake from a horrible sound from under the bed:

Wondering what it might be, she got up to look and decided to have a little chat with the creepy thing.....

But, the sounds became worse.... and she ran to her daddy to plead for help in getting the monster away.....

Running back to show dad the monster..... only.... he could not see the monster

And this is how scared she became of the monster under the bed.....

I started testing the kids stuff, but the battle area doesn't work. The order doesn't even appear, though both kids have bought a void card. The whole thing is quite disappointing. No new wallpapers or playground stuff, nothing for babies.
There's much better stuff around the community and how often would you like tho see the puppet theater? Every option once. Same with the monster. Saw it and what now? Obviously I have to use the ugly lamp which keeps them away.

Ava,

I'm not surprised by this. EA/Maxis is not listening to the consumers who keep
telling them that infant/toddler/child interactions should be basic programming.

Thank goodness for the community.

Hi All,

I found a pic of the voidcritters on Jools' simming today. They are
called Oblivion skullhead devil san and Pastel princess platypus-kun.

Ava, I so agree with you. I expected much more. The little girl asked the monster to leave after she "befriended" it, and now it stays away.
She is an only child so I could not test the battle station yet.
But, I agree, been there....done that.

I am just wondering though, since the void cards can be found in dust bins and logs, if we only have a limited time to find them all, like in the easter egg hunt. That would be horrible, since we have to pay for the stuff pack.

anidup, I would be grateful, if you could try the battle area. At least for training a void creature.
And I don't think we have limited time to find the cards in the trash bin. The guys from Simtimes wrote, they could order all cards via computer, though it was announced otherwise.
I threw away my mods folder and will put them in one by one. Let's see if this works, but honestly: I would rather give up the battle area than one of my beloved mods!

EDIT: It's not the mods. Seems to be a bug >EA Forum<

If anyone is interested, I've made some pics of the content and posted them at my forum.

Hi All,

I found the Sims 2 "Tragic Clown" which you can turn into a NPC.
He can't create any horrible events for our simmies.  However,
rumor is, he smells bad.  On mts  Here

I would rather have the Maestro Mackness Pimptastic NPC!  He is
one of the good-guys which you can see in the above pics.
I have the necklace in all my downtown lots. You never know
when you're going to need a little lovin'.  On Simslice

Thank you Anita for the let's play.I am not surprised people are deceived by the pack, but as you say we buy a game for the gameplay not for the contents. However this time they add okay stuffs for amusing people , and as we all know the sims 4 is quite easy and simple so they'll continue untilt he end of the saga in this pathway.

There is a new teaser out for the sims 4 players: can be read HERE

But, thinking back on the content they gave us in the previous updates, game packs and stuff packs, it is but a few items and a tiny amount of new game play. The new items were not all new to the game.... like the latest kids stuff pack. Except for the voi critter station, the monster under the bed....which give you new interactions, but can all be achieved in a few real life minutes of play, the furniture was not really very exciting. We have kid's beds, drawing tables, desks, chairs and the like. And the stuff are all very basic and boring actually.

Now you may ask what is going on! Yes, I like the game... it is easy to play, easy to create for and easy to build. Not much glitches, for me any way, but I saw the new teaser tonight........

I am quite disappointed. Nothing in the teaser looks new to me. I can easily create most of what I see there, even better, the content may already be out there, being made by the many talented creators out there.

What we need is better game play and interactions. We need more aspirations, traits and definitely careers. But it really seems like the producers are not really listening to the community, who has been asking for this and so many more pleads went out already that I am wondering why they bother to get a poll on what we think about the new teaser.

I was looking back at all the Expansion Packs they made for the sims 3 a few minutes ago, and I am seriously considering to install the game again.... though I do not have all the packs. But, being able to swim and scuba dive in the sea, going water skiing sounds like a lot more fun to do!!

The producers in sims 4 need to shape up seriously!! If I was not creating, there would be almost nothing for me to do in the sims 4..... and since I am not able to reinstall my sims 2 game, I made peace with having only the sims 4 to play.
I gave my sims 3 discs to my daughter in law, but am going to ask it back....

Oh well, may be I will feel more positive again tomorrow!
