Lorry, you can resize your pictures to 800 x 800 pixels. This is one of the best benefits of us havng moved to another server.
The quality of the pictures is way better.

Love your work, Lorry.
The green in the kitchen is really refreshing!

Lorry,

I love your interior designs. They are so lovely. I wish I could decorate like that.

I checked out the rest of  your photos again for this home and decided I'd just like to move into the whole thing. The modern vibe of the outside isn't really my style but you've done a great job on it and have convinced me.  :girlie5:

I was just talking about this, Modern v Country, and when you read my response to your comment on Tilly's house you will understand. I love modern but struggle with country.

LOL sooo you want to move in....you'll have to come to Australia giggle
Thank you for your lovely comment though koalahug

The house makeover is very nice - I remember doing some of that in ts3, myself. I really enjoyed the pictures :D

ty Suzanne.......all Sims 4, I uninstalled Sims 3 (lol took away the temptation)
Now I don't have a choice, and up until I removed Sims 3, I believed it prevented me from playing either game.

I understand - once I installed and began experimenting with ts4, I uninstalled ts3, too.

I really do believe this is why I thought I lost my mojo. I wanted to go only into Sims 3, but I knew I had to learn more about Sims 4 and the custom content was getting better and better, especially when Simcredible released the Spring Aroma set, that had a big impact on me. It was just so beautiful, from then on I began taking more interest........lol but the temptation had to be removed. That was the best thing I did, I don't have to try and decide what game to go into, and now I am loving the Sims again

Having only the sims 4 after my pc broke down cured me from sims 2 as well. Though I have sims 3 installed, I never have the urge to play the game.
I only create for sims 4 since the tools are so much more user friendly.
I really like the idea of having you in the sims 4 game!

Anita I love the Sims 4 so much now, lol but there are still choices to be made........build, decorate or play?? giggle
Do you never have the urge to play the game? I did look at a tutorial on how to recolour dontgetit that was enough for me!

Dear Poppy thank you so much for your comment, I think I am finally grasping Sims 4, although I still have a lot to learn. My builds are always basic due to game play. I made a Sim a few weeks ago quite by accident while I was testing some new cc I had put into my game, she turned out really good! I will upload some pictures of her as soon as I take them.

I can't live without being able to play the game..so when I build/decorate it has to be so the Sims can move around and not go off with those hands up yelling because they can't/won't walk around..lol..
I can't wait to see your other sims/creations you have done since you have been gone Lorry lol..

Thank you so much Crissi, it's beautiful

Wonderful pictures! I love the use of the same general color thru-out the entire house! I do that in RL too, I feel it flows so well! Because I'm anal and like things to be cohesive, I prefer a neutral color scheme.

But, I just bought a new house last June and my middle daughter moved in with me. Since she doesn't work and she feels her "job" is to cook and clean house and she loves bright colors, I compromised and let her decide what the kitchen decor would be since she is the one that spends the majority of time in there. She chose bright colors ... lime green, teal blue, bright yellow, bright orange, and red. I'm ok with it because we only use "splashes" of color with the rug, kitchen towels, a few bright spatulas in a holder and knives in the knife block. It's a happy place tho and it makes her happy, so that's what counts!

But, because of this, since my dining room (which sits between the kitchen and living room), I had to incorporate a little brighter colors in the dining room than I would have used if I had chose the pallet myself. My living room (which is my style) is whites and beige mostly, with a small hint of grayish blue accent pieces. My dining room is still mostly white (I have that farm house look going on) but I have a few teal accents to tie in the kitchen.

My last house, every room in the house, was done in reds, black, & white. So when I bought a new house I was ready for a change and wanted something more "calming".

It's funny because my daughter asked me after we  moved and I got it all decorated "if my plumbob was green now" lmao

So Chicklet we are all in favor of seeing your house! giggle

One of the houses we built had a white kitchen and with 2 boys at the time, everyone said I was mad........they were wrong of course. I could add any colour to my kitchen and if I got sick of it I'd select something else. Plus if I saw a dirty mark, no problem, I'd wipe it clean in an instant! I wonder how many times people even think of wiping down their cupboards. LOL my house was always spotless, thankfully I am a lot more relaxed now drinkingwine
Just going to upload my Sim to photobucket!

This is Rae, who happened quite by accident when I was testing some new genetics I had put into my game.....didn't pay any attention to the base game Sim she started out as. I really liked her look, so I decided to keep her.  I have made a partner for her, but he needs a little tweaking  glasses
