Hello lovelies HappyDay

I have been out of action for a week with no computer ohno
After downloading Windows 10, I found after awhile things started going a little haywire. So I took it to the store that built it and found some Windows files were corrupted. After fixing these files, the guy talked me into replacing my hard drive, which was showing signs of wear and tear, for a solid state hard drive, I didn't want to have to come back again at a later time, so I told him to go ahead with it! crazyspin   This meant more time without my pc.....BUT I have a super fast, spick and span  all clean computer, with no Sims!!!  LOL I have almost finished installing Sims 4, don't even want to think about Sims 3 :glassgran:

What did I do for the past week dontgetit
I watched every terrifying movie on Netflix, played on my IPad, ate a ton of chocolate (real couch potato), cleaned the house vaccum: , yelled at everyone angry (I needed my baby back) and walked around parks and shopping centres watching my daughter find Pokemon things.

What would you do to occupy yourself without your computer?

What would I do ... more Writing, reading, solving crossword puzzles, taking care of the garden (there are more weeds than flowers) even though it is not because of your computer, clean the house anyway vacuuming every day, train the dog and spending time with my grandchildren even more.

Thank you Crissi for the beautiful signature

I would love to spend time with my grandchildren, they would be the best distraction, but sadly they live in other parts of Australia. I am going to see my grandson in September though and I cant wait!

I would be just like tilly..omgosh..to think I grew up with no Electricity, running water, no fans, tv's, just my horses and my drawings...now a days I have to have Electricity, running water, fans, tv's, and by all means my computer..I would just go nuts..and without my Sims2 I am having a major anxiety attack lol.. runcircle

But I do love to read, and of course my house would be cleaner than it is right now lol..but still would go crazy and probably yell at everyone that is around me angry and of course I do have the tv which is on from the time I get up to the time I go to bed even though I don't watch much just use it for noise..

I have to still figure out why I am not getting CC in my Bodyshop and CAS..just about ready to do another factory restore and make sure ALL of anything that is Sims2 related is not on here..and then of course redownload my game..I don't know what else to do angry

Thank you so much Crissi, it's beautiful

Lorry,

I do remember actually 'writing' term papers in college and then 'typing' them.
OMG!!!  I don't think I could do that now.  My poor brain would not know how to
think.

What would I do?  Read, and wait.  Watch TV and wait.  Tap foot. Oh... and
complain.

Yes, there would be some complaining going on. thlol

From your comments, I am happy to know I am not the only one that becomes very grumpy without a computer...... angry

Lol Ava that is hilarious, I was a dressmaker, but my patterns were NOT on my computer giggle

Renee my daughter loves to read, she is studying to become a librarian, and is working as one at a school. She loves to be surrounded by books.

Tilly I played a lot of Castle Story on my IPad, for some reason I cant get into Farmville, and have had an ongoing battle with Zynga over it......more stress angry

Oh Conny I would love to clean my windows but it was too cold and it rained.  I love knitting, but I could never grasp crocheting.

Sam it doesn't take long to enjoy or get used to creature comforts.  Oh my gosh you are so patient, your computer issues started long before mine.  consol1

Poppy I think you would be happy in any situation, ohhhh to be you, I am envious  budhug

Easter I thought you were doing an impersonation of me  laughloud  That's exactly what I was doing and the wait seemed to take forever.

If the weather was warm and sunny, I would have gotten out in the garden or gone for a walk down the beach.  Being winter, it's typical of snuggling up on the couch or sitting with a hot water bottle on a computer!  giggle

I have come to learn that I need some kind of game in my life when I was without my computer a while back.
I had to get myself a tablet, and then started playing games on that.
Tilly: I also play hay day... though not every day but I still have my farm and keep things going there.

I currently play criminal case, and Emily's restaurant games. That I do when I want to relax and not think about anything!

I would go stark raving mad.... dontgetit runcircle angry bored :hypnos: without my computer and the ability to create and play.
My husband knows by now, when we go somewhere the first thing I pack is my tablet and my laptop..... at least then I can access the internet.

Lmao Anita we are all very similar when it comes to our Sims, the ability to be creative is the key I think.

I played Criminal Case too! As for Hay Day, I could never get into it.

Sam: hay day is a mobile game..... where you farm with animals and have different "machines" to make different products. I had a lot of fun with mine.... but as I said, for now I put it on the back shelf for a while.

Lorry, no actually - the only time we've lost electricity was back during the heat wave a few years ago, and the power station couldn't cope with all the load because of the air-conditioners.

Lol that does not surprise me in the least. My son lives in Melbourne and when I was there about 2 years ago, it was a 40 degree day and I thought I was going to melt. :summer3:
