Tilly suggested I add an album... so, here goes! summerB15

(Some of) my pictures for this build - I still have a lot to do to finish it, heheheheeh

Too many?  doggy2

I bulldozed a lot (Bjergson) on the Island in Windenburg to create my Paradise Found (JFF). I used a resort bungalow plan called Brazil Mist as the basis for the lot. And, when you're in Paradise and prefer some seclusion after beachcombing, an infinity pool is a must.

I hope you like this lot - I do. My son decided we need to find land on a Tropical Island somewhere and actually build this one :D

The pool looks like it has an infinity edge, is that right?

I'm planning on uploading Sims 3 or 4 soon and want to try an infinity edged pool at the edge of the ocean. :summerBa:

Thank you, Sam :bluestar:

...now I need to go finish it... but it is taking about 1 1/2 hours to load my game (too much cc, lol).

Yes, Alouette - I love infinity pools! They are fun to do and interesting to build in ts4 (flat lots).

Suzanne,

I have to comment again. This house is wonderful.  I want to live there in
real life. It's not just the colors, it's the design.  You can almost feel the breeze.

Hi Anneke & Tilly :D

It is nice to meet you, too, Anneke... Yes, I am playing in ts4... It is quite different from building in ts3! I will load some other pictures tomorrow (a larger build I've been working on) once I open the game back up again... I was downloading more cool stuff tonight heheheheh.   :gardening:

Tilly - thank you, again, for suggesting I do this. Cherryblossom Sims is a wonderful community. I'm glad to be a part of it.  HappyDay

I am Marie
I think your photos are so beautiful and evocative it so that you only want to sit in a chair on the patio and just enjoy.
I still use Sims 2 but think it's fun to see the images from both The Sims 3 and 4.
I look forward to more pictures.

Thank you Crissi for the beautiful signature

Hi Suzanne, this house is amazing! Thank you for showing us, what you can do with Sims 4. I really miss beach lots in Sims 4, which would have been perfect for the Windenburg world. But your house shows, that you can build a fantastic holiday retreat without them. Do you offer it for Download?

Hi Marie and Avalanche,

Thank you :D :easter3:

Pictures after sleep :summer2New:

Avalanche, I'm more than happy to figure out how to upload the house the Gallery. I just have to figure out how to not lose the landscaping (plants). I will have to create a cc list, I believe. Oh, and I used MOO (a lot) and resized a bunch of things... Let me see what I can figure out later today.

...that's just the outside lol. I'm still not quite done with the inside :Spring2

You have really worked wonders with the limits we have in sims 4 as far as beach lots go. The deck area looks so relaxing. The added detail of having fallen leaves on the floor is brilliant!
And the view outside from the living room.... I can sit there for hours looking out to the ocean.

We are fortunate to have you here at our forum, Suzanne. You must join us in our next contest!

Hi Suzanne,

sorry, I cannot tell you how to upload to the gallery, because I never use it. I could only offer you an invitation code for Sim File Share. I think, I've got some left.
And yes, it's better to check creators policies before including their work. Especially TSR is very strict with their Featured Artist Stuff. Do you already know the Tray Importer? It's the best and easiest way to check your cc and export your files with or without cc.
I'm sure your house will be a great success!

Hi Anita and Avalanche,    :flowersmilie:

Thank you! I'm glad you are all having me, lol. ---especially wonderful, coming from you, Anita.

Avalanche - thank you for the link to the Tray Importer. (I'm also a utilities junkie, hehehehehhe). I think that artists who spend their time doing so much wonderful work for the community simply due to love of creation deserve credit. I recall ts2 and the builder/designer who did all those wonderfully full houses, but only offered the lots with nothing in them (what was her name?) by Curio...

---I just created a Pinterest board for Curio's house pictures, as BlackPearlSims sight is no more... :(

...okay... I have work to do, lol. I need to get my game loaded and take pictures of the other build I've been working on. It's a house that should be on a cliff (and, no cliffs in ts4), so I reversed the floors and have been working on filling it out.

I will also see about uploading my Paradise Found house (at least the house and grounds...) and see about creating a cc list for the full house. (Frau Engel does wonderful lots and I need to see how she is able to offer them full of cc.)

You are all amazing! Again, thank you for having me and for saying such wonderful things about the  tropical house.

These are the kitchen, breakfast nook, and dining room (with butler pantry) for a house I'm working on. I'm not anywhere near finished, but the basics for these rooms are set.

The house is a 4 bedroom, 6 bath house with media room, office/den, lots of patios/balconies, and a three-car garage. The plans and actual build I found situate the house on a cliff, with the entry level as the main level (kitchen, master, great room, etc.) and the remaining bedrooms and media room, etc. on the lower level.

I've flipped the floors as there are no cliffs in ts4. I'm still actually playing with the walls in an attempt to recreate the floorplans as faithfully as possible.

This one will take awhile, lol      :Lawnmower:

This one is Dr. Maura Isles' apartment (recolored) (from the tv series Rizzoli & Isles).

I started working on this one during the lighting issue and still need to replace some lights (really weird shadows!). This resulted in some strangeness, as pillows that looked one way in the catalog, came out strange after I ran the batch lighting fix. Bizarre!!!   dontgetit

(The black pillows were pale lavendar... lol)

This build is fun, as the "apartment" is actually a set and we never get to see her bedroom (it turns out it is upstairs, lol) or other rooms beyond the entry way and open plan living/dining/kitchen. There is a guest house in the back (finally got a really quick peek the other day in this final season), so I don't know if I'll be able to find any images of the possible layout of it, but I will look :)

Really great work!
I never watched the series as I read the books, and the two are just too different.... loved the books!!

I see quite a number of wcif's coming if you will permit me!

I am not that experienced when it comes to building, so forgive me my question: what do you mean if you say you reversed the floors?
