I love it! The different shapes and colors of the pumpkins are so cute and the setting for the pumpkin patch would be a great place to spend an autumn day outdoors.

I just love what you did with the house so far! Especially the play area under the tree for the children! And the autumn leaves..... just lovely. I see you have used quite a number of different building techniques. I am going to bother you soon with a "How did you do that?"
Every area of the verandas and the yard is quite eye catching!
You have a very good eye for putting things together so they look and appear so right and perfect.... and to be honest I am actually at a loss for words.
Your entry and hard work makes me realize I could have done so much more!
And boy am I relieved that mine is JFF!! giggle

I'm weeping with joy over all for your lovely comments!     HappyDay

I love the Sims; I really, really do!!!    summerB7

But, I love you Cherries even more   flirty

Anita - we need to skype when there is no lightning danger for your computer - I'd love to share back and forth with you - your house is awesome! You may be doing it JFF, but I really do like what you did.

Anneke - the detail (which I can do too much of sometimes) is what makes this so much fun and explains why I have so much cc! LOL    giggle

I cannot wait to see your entry, Alouette!

Lorry - you are the bomb!

Sam - I hope we can talk tonight via skype! I am so looking forward to talking with you :D    danceani

Alouette, you should be able to take pictures that look good to us, even if they don't look good to you, lol...

...what you see is not the same as the image your software will receive. :)

(selfish me, I want to see your entry!)

I can only use the in-game camera and not my fraps or anything. My issue is I use a television screen as my computer monitor and haven't discovered a way to take screen shots beyond what the game offers.

Thank you, Marie :D

Alouette - all my screenshots are literally that - in-game pictures. I don't edit or manipulate anything. Each game (ts2, ts3, ts4) does in-game shots a bit differently, what with lighting and all of that...

...also people's computer setups... this is a picture of my brother's desktop one day and his desk:

This is his actual desktop when he was testing his system's abilities - he had everything he could think of open, LOL

I'm an amateur compared to him - I'm using a laptop!  heheheheheh... but then, his system is what he uses to run his business :)    :hypnos:

This monitor stand, though...  omg

...the biggest complaint about ts4 when it first came out was the lighting - it was terrible! They finally put out an update patch that really, really fixed the lighting issues (mostly), but a lot of people have started using game mods and a lot of post processing software for their images. I'm still researching how to use the HQ mod and Reshade (for example), but I'm not a graphic artist... I wouldn't have a clue as to how to enhance or modify my in-game pictures in something like Photoshop... I just sigh and enjoy all the wonderful pictures people upload to different places (especially Tumblr... go check out cherry-sims on Tumblr, for instance... her pictures are simply stunning!!!!).

Just work at taking the best pictures you can - that is truly good enough :D

Hi All, Here is the "After" (no cc/ts4) Abandoned House from Kiara/OnyxSim.

I added the raised deck area in the back; it was not part of the original plans :D Oh, and, of course, the pool, too, heheheheh.

Now I'm going to go work on the "Before" addition, LOL :Spring2 giggle runcircle

(as usual, I am uploading all the pictures because I don't know when enough is enough, LOL)

Exterior - various day lighting:

Okay :) Here is "Before" - nowhere near as spooky as Kiara's/OnyxSim's original build and pictures, but I did my best, using only EA content and her Abandoned Set cc.

Enjoy!

The lighting includes some evening shots... I found the late afternoon/sunset lighting to be really pretty for these shots.

Four (4) Front Exterior - Same Shot/All Lighting Perspectives

I had to take a bunch of these because the lighting is so cool!
