Thank you, TJ! <3

The burgers and hot dogs/sausages are:

Sausages are part of this set from BrazenLotus: Click Here

The Hamburgers and Hotdogs are from Budgie2Budgie and may be found: Click Here

What's funny is that my game decided to go all wonky on me - I lost the ability to use MOO, then raise cc, then after getting that resolved, it decided not to save!!! I had to redo my rocks three times! All of this on Friday and all day on Saturday!!! I was literally freaking out, LOL!!!

Fortunately, I had saved the lot, so I exported it (and all the cc) with sims 4 tray importer, pulled all the Beach cc (two merged files, and added a third), pulled all the specific merged cc files for the lot and opened a completely new sims 4 game. I redid the rocks for the third time, finalized all the cc placement, took pictures, saved everything over and over (including the lot), uploaded the chosen 6 pictures to Photobucket, and then uploaded those to DOTY... with less than 22 minutes to spare before this round closed. Whew!!!

Holy Wow! My heart would have been raising! (And my blood pressure too! LOL) ... I don't do well under pressure, I seem to make more mistakes and get frustrated because of it then give up! You're a trooper and evidently persistent and determined too!

Well I'm glad it all worked out in the end and I know you'll go on to the next round for sure!

Thank you for that, TJ. <3

Unfortunately, I was eliminated.

However, both Nikki and Marie do move forward. Yeah!

The good news? I will get to work on my May BAD entry - that means I'll get to see everyone's entries sooner rather than later!

The funny thing? One of my pictures was chosen as a judges' favorite. Go figure, lol :/ hehehehe

I was apparently one of the two lowest scoring entries. I won't know my scores until they send me them.

As to continuing with JFFs - I don't know. It depends on my time, inclination, and a few other things, like my wrapping my head around being eliminated, LOL :D

We'll see. I don't have Photoshop and this next round requires Black and White images. I'm sure I could figure out how to do some post photo processing, so possibly.

They began DOTY with 23 entrants. Round 4 began with 15 people. They will begin Round 5 with 13.

You should go look at the entries for the Beach round. There were some really cool entries, Sam :D

Suzanne, you have quite a number of beautiful pictures! I would not have been able to choose which to upload to DOTY.
You surprised me with the look inside the snack bar, and I am sure that would have wowed the judges.
Will head over to simpearls soon to see if the results are out.

Thank you, Anita <3

I updated the DOTY thread here with the results :D

I decided to continue with JFFs for the experience of it, as that was the main reason I decided to participate in DOTY to begin with :)

TJ: I think Suzanne's process of elimination with what cc she uses are similar to your's. I've seen pictures of her rooms with stuff thrown all over and then the final result. I imagine your's is a similar process. giggle

Suzanne: your entry was great nonetheless. I love the little cove you created.  polarhug

You know you have to give yourself a pat on the back for all the pressure and expectations from entering DOTY.
I went there first thing this morning, and scrolled several times looking for your name.
The journey you have taken is unforgettable, you know what to expect for next year.
You will always be a winner in our eyes kissing

I loved your entry as well Suzanne. I would not have eliminated you if I were to be a judge. This comes straight from my heart. I agree with Lorry, you have learnt a lot, and will know what to expect next year.

Thank you, thank you, thank you :D <3

I will be continuing with JFFs - Sam and my son, Ben convinced me :)

Again, my main reason was to grow and DOTY is a good place for that. Building outside of my comfort zone and/or finding out I can do things I never thought about, or even thought I could do, is actually what I love about the sims.

So... you are warned in advance - there will be pictures, LOL!!!

Here are my Black and White JFF entry pictures for DOTY Round 5 - Titanic First Class Stateroom.

I'm following up this post with the original color pictures for comparison.

I used PowerPoint to turn the color pictures black and white.

Holy WOW! You did an amazing job! I don't do well with that era/time period (and I can barely remember the movie and honestly, I probably didn't pay any attention to "environment/location", I was too engrossed in the story (although I DOOOOO remember having to go pee so bad during it and not wanting to miss anything ... I saw it in the theater, so no "pause button" LOL!)

I can't wait to see the "colored version"!

And btw ..... Thank goodness for BACKSPACE!!! It's my friend tonight ... beer and long nails are not getting along too well! :P

Oh, thank you, TJ!!!

I had fun with this one (JFF, you know, hehehe).

I'm really happy I had PowerPoint and didn't have to learn the rudiments of Photoshop for this one, LOL (I have it and have done some stuff with it in the past, but there are so many options for black and white - WOW!!!).

I cannot wait to see Nikki's and Marie's entries. I'll continue to JFF's for DOTY. But I'm just as happy to have the time to work on our challenges here at CBS. I've been itching to get back to work on the BAD build and to start on the new I-create build <3

I hope you like to color pictures :D

I am a HUGE fan of your decorating! You make the entire environment (no matter the style) seem so realistic! And you did an amazing job on this! Even if it was JFF I am soooo happy you shared it with us! You have captured that era perfectly! Everything from the walls/floors, furniture, and little deco pieces replicate just how it would have been!

Now, I'm blushing, TJ <3

Seriously, you've given me a wonderful case of the warm fuzzies and I cannot thank you enough!

This (building, landscaping, decorating) is what I absolutely love about the sims - and why my Mods folder is literally bursting at the seams, LOL.

Thank you, my friend. Thank you.

You sooo deserve all the praise I've given you! Seriously! I can't build worth a darn (well in my mind I was "worth a "s**t" lmfao, but I kept it PG here cause beer has a tendency to make have a potty mouth! LOL)

But, seriously .... I just had this convo with my boyfriend .... "Drunk words are Sober thoughts" ... so, what I have said is how I feel. You're an amazing decorating/builder! And I so enjoy seeing what you come up with next!

And, let's not talk about landscaping! I can NOT do that, that's worse than building to me! I love "curb appeal" but I'm horrible at what looks good together outside! I make "fake" exteriors to showcase my creations, same thing with my interiors actually ... it's a "shell" .. a few deco pieces here and there to simulate a room ... I just leave the building to you awesome and talented creators and then Download them and enjoy them LOL

Really? I'd love that! We could decide the room/area style we're trying to achieve and decide on colors/patterns/look and then make it happen! Would be soooo much fun!
