This October 2017 BAD is a truly fun and fantastical theme - a Play House <3

Here are all my pictures (including the ones I uploaded to the theme). Enjoy!

(I really hope more people will enter this BAD - it is AWESOME!!!) <3

Warning for the faint of heart - Picture Blast!!! hehehehe

~~~
In the first few pictures, the halfway made it through without color - oops! There is also a bit of disappearing in the parrot picture and the colored pencil picture.
My apologies for these issues... I am nowhere as good as Marie (Tahoe) at taking pictures in teensy tiny places! (I also rarely have a sim on my builds.)
However, this was a true challenge - both in the tiny build AND for the theme. Anita - I have to say thank you, again, for coming up with this. I love being pushed to build outside my bailiwick and truly enjoyed this the further I got into it.
...also, thank you SOOOOOOO MUCH for the conversion of Cassandre's stuffed animals - between your conversion and so many other wonderful creators who take their time to create and then share their atristry (whether through meshing, recoloring, or converting) with all of us in the simming community.
Without all of you, my game would be nothing like this! <3 <3 <3
Beautiful Suzanne, if I was a little girl I would cry to joy in front of a home for games like this.
danceani :multistars:
I missed this challenge, my list of things to do is always stretched, I've made the tree house, putting other two I'm still working on, now I'm still pending to do this but the challenges I like .
Suzanne, what a spectacular play house you built!
Though you say it is a bit out of your comfort zone, you did an amazing job with it.
Thank you my dearest friend for putting some of the stuffed animals to good use.
The little girl for whom this room is meant is going to have a blast!
Naturally..... you found stuff I have not seen before... I will soon pester you to share with me.....LOL.
Now I am going back to drool over the pictures once again.
I'm glad to see even more pictures at the liila house.
You think I'm good at taking pictures? I thank and bow.  inlove34
Luckily no-one can hear those ugly words  angry swear   that I sometimes say when the camera goes away in the wrong direction. laughing1
Suzanne - I KNEW you'd rock this challenge! And, you did such an amazing and fabulous job, you'd think you had little girls in RL! I'm in awe! I know my girls would have just love this! Instead they had the entire basement as their play area when they were little (and it was not nearly as nice and cute and girly as this!)
Marie - I had to giggle at your remark about saying the ugly words when the camera doesn't behave! LOL
Thank you so much Crissi for my beautiful signature! *hugs*
Oh, you are all so very sweet!
Thank you for all these lovely comments <3
Marie - if I had an audio recording of me taking these pictures, you would see we are the same! LOL
...and you are an exceptional picture taker - especially in small builds! :D
Bea - I am so glad you like my build <3
TJ - you, too? heheheh (bad words/picture taking). I bet your basement had everything you could think of to create a wonderful play space for your girls :D I had boys and they liked bed/chair/desk tents in their rooms, so we did that (they grow up SO fast!) <3
Patty - you do such wonderful work that I do hope you find time to do this - there is still time :D
Livia - Awwww - that means I did it properly - thank you so much for that <3
Anita - I did NOT build an entire house, lol... and it was something I don't do, so (again) thank you for coming up with a theme/build that pushed me... I love these challenges!
LOL...Marie. You are not the only one who utters the nasty words when the camera runs around! That is why I like to have a sim on the lot.....makes it easier to take pictures.
Alas, I am still not very good at it, but the camera does not run away that often!
Suzanne, you are so sweet..LOL> Admitting that you did not build a full house. I must admit, I wondered where the rest of the lot was when I admired the pictures. But, with you I have learnt the harder the better, the more you push yourself, the better the end result! Your entry is amazing!
LOL and as for the picture taking, I think you have done very well.....it actually made me feel ill when I was trying to take shots bored
I think your 'SHED' is a perfect transformation, I love all the plants! No surprises there, right?
Ok Suzie-Q, you know I LOVE this build. I have a complaint however, looking at all your pics just turns me into a
covetous, acquisitional, insane person! Must. Own. More. CC. vaccum:
Lorry - oh you are so right on regarding the plants, lol! Thank you regarding the pictures... I ended up having to take the one with the dollhouse right through the walls!
Bodaccia (I know I know your name, but you haven't made it public on the site, lol) - Thank you! And I do think you are quite well on your way to having ALL the cc! LOL <3
Following are all (well, most, lol) of the pictures I took while creating the Autumn Perch Home for Autumn Bliss (downloads)...
...They're in chronological order - oldest to newest - so you can see the progression of this build AND the changes I had to do while testing the lot for playability, heheheheh.
The before the fix pictures were taken with and without Dani Paradise's Autumn Mod... just so you may see what your game could look like with it loaded :D
Most of you may already know that I rarely play a sim, so I often have issues with one in my game...
...Abby Dresden was wonderfully cooperative in letting me know what DID NOT work in this build. <3
So, there were some changes to be made rofl301
Fortunately, most of the changes were the rock/terrain issues and an issue with the first levels of stairs in the front. The interior only needed the Master Bath commode moved into a different direction...
I had a blast building this and Bodaccia was with me via Skype for just about every single hour of this build - she is a wonderful friend and had some great suggestions :D <3
As noted on the download page, this build (in its downloadable state) would not have been possible without the wonderful creators who allowed me to include their cc (Anita, Chicklet, Conny, and Tanja - anidup, chicklet, oldbox, tatschu). Nor would the remainder of the build have been possible without all the other creators whose cc I used to create this build - the entire list*** is on the thread linked at the top of this post. Thank you, all... over and over... for your creativity, time, artistry, and willingness to share with the simming community! <3
***each item of cc is directly linked in the Credits & Links pdf file in the download zip.
~~~~~~~

~~~~~~~
These are the images for the download thread (all, except the helper images) so you can see what might have been cut out through framing :D
If you'd like to see more of the home that inspired this build, please go here: The Perch
~~~~~~~

I thank you for taking a look at everything and I hope you enjoyed this build and that you and your simmies enjoy the home <3

Thank you, Crissi, for my beautiful signature <3
