ROFL Oh Sam I have an image of you on the interstate with a walker, oblivious to the havoc you would be creating!
I have always been drawn to people that tell it like it is, no BS, just complete honesty. In fact that's exactly how my hubby is.......oh my gosh there are times he has made me cringe when relating a story to me. My Dad was also like that!

How funny..Lorry..I don't believe in BS either..I have tried to be nice even when I knew I shouldn't have been..but then I would get lied to, and people would steal from me..so I just stopped being nice..I just don't trust people in general..

But for some odd reason I am so excited to have a lot of friends on here that I can trust..and that isn't easy for me..and it has been so easy talking on here..and anything and everything..

Saturday I will be getting pictures of the Missouri River..maybe a few pictures of the place around here..not much here and all the leaves are starting to fall off..it was pretty windy here today and a ton of leaves came off..

Time for a Spring Siggi lol

I live in Queensland Australia. The area I live in is mostly bushland and is semi rural so its mostly farming and properties. It is usually a quiet area with just the birds and farm animals to be heard. Because of the bushalnd area we see alot of kangaroos, wallabies and koala here.

A couple of years ago whikle my son was eating lunch at school a mother koala with her baby on her back casually strolled throught the lunch area. The kids couldnt stop talking about it!

Right now it is Spring - almost summer - but already really hot. It looks like rain today which would be fantastic because I love the rain!

Sam you sound like my husband, he would say to a very trusting me......'don't trust anyone' angry
And now I finally get it!

PrincessKharis you live in one of the best places in the world! I have been to Queensland many times, and my husband and I did consider moving there, it was just too hard with family that live here crying
I love the story of the koala, that would have been lovely to see......I've only seen them up a tree

We see them often moving from tree to tree but the kids were so excited to see them up close and she wasnt worried about them either, just took her time. ONe of the perks of living in the "boonies" I guess lol

I live in the Midwest so get to enjoy the four seasons in all their glory.  I also get to deal with ice, snow, thunderstorms, and unfortunately the occasional tornado.  However the beauty of nature outweighs all that!  I live in a suburban area just outside a small town.  I grew up in the country and am used to having space and privacy. Something I don't want to live without.  I work in the 2nd largest city (and 77th largest US according to Wikipedia) in my state.

I live in Las Vegas, Nevada (Vegas, lol), Calisamba :D

It is usually very hot by this time of year, LOL.

Right now it is only in the 80s...

...it looks like it is deciding to act like it is going to become Summer after all, though - we're headed for the 90s this week :D

calisamba it's interesting to me that you work in such a large city........I on the other hand, live in the remotest city in the world, quite a contrast!

Poppy I would love to visit your country and I would love to visit Las Vegas.....but only to meet up with Suzanne giggle We have one casino only and that's enough for me!

Calisamba, I'm in the Midwest, too! I love having four seasons but I could do without the cold sometimes. giggle

I was in Las Vegas recently but didn't have the time to visit with Suz unfortunately. Hopefully I'll be able to go back soon.

Alouette - I figured that's what happened, lol... no worries, my friend. I'm not going anywhere <3

Seriously - if anyone is coming this way, please let me know - even a quick cup of coffee, tea, or ice water would be amazing, okay? :flirty:

Hey midwesterners! I'm a native Michigander but recently moved to Seattle.  It's beautiful in the Pacific Northwest and doesn't rain as much as everyone says ;) I'm lucky to be surrounded by water, mountains, and beautiful national parks. It's a serious slice of heaven! I do still miss those midwest falls <3

A shot from Discovery Park in Seattle

Haystack Rock at Cannon Beach (anyone a Goonies fan?)

The Columbia River Gorge (Washington side)

And the Fremont Troll just for fun :)
