You'd have to actually look for Spring Valley in Las Vegas, Sam :D

However, Phoenix has us all beat...

...I read an article on CNN. They have been keeping track of temperatures there since 1895.

So, 45,000 days worth of temperatures.

If it gets above 119 there on Tuesday as expected, it will be only the 5th day to do so since they've been keeping track!

Wowzer!!!!! :summer011: :summer08: :summer02:

Only if he had a cooling/heating switch on him and moved in with you, lol...

...then you could switch him to cool when it was warm and back to heat when it got cold, LOL!!!

How hot, Timmer-Man?

What about for you, Anneke?

It reached 116f / 46.6667C here in Vegas today...

...even my intrepid kitty, Amadeus decided he preferred being indoors today! LOL

Ooo... for your pizza, Sam... Was it still good, though? Has the mugginess dissipated a bit? When I lived in So Cal, it was muggy prior to raining and then all of that humidity went away... sounds like it is the opposite where you are.

InfiniteHearts - I know you have stated outer space (hehehehe), but any general area in particular for you?

I'm happy for you, Lorry... I hope the rain came down at a decent rate for you - when we talked it certainly sounded like you need it! <3

It's the opposite here it gets real hot and humid after a rain most days..that humidity sky rockets after a rain..
And the pizza was ok..I couldn't finish it..so put it in a zip lock and today Terry ate the rest lol..I like my pizza where you have to use both hands so it don't fall over and everything runs right off lol..but I was distracted on here and laughing with Lorry, TJ and poppy lol..

Oh, I never thought I would wish for rain....we get plenty of it here, lol. But its been soooo hot and humid, which is unusual for England. Today its going to be 34 degrees. Its hot and sticky, and we don't have air conditioners in our houses, as we don't normally need them, lol. I have a fan, but its not helping! Come on rain! :girlie5:

Tilly your heat is different to Australia.....it was only 25 when my daughter and I were there, yet it felt a lot warmer.  LOL The hotel had no air conditioning, but the staff found a fan for each of us!
I can imagine that 34 could be quite warm for you

Almost 90f, Lisa! Wow, that must be really humid, too...

I hope you get some relief soon...

I definitely prefer dry heat to humid heat... Even with the really elevated temperatures we've been having here, they're bearable with air conditioning (I would NOT live here without it!), the pool, and shade.

...and, of course, lots and lots of water :D

I think its a bit cooler today....but yes Lorry, even 25 is warm for us here, but I can just about manage that, he he. :summer08:
Suzanne, I live about 2 minutes away from a river.....I don't have a pool, but the river looks more and more enticing to jump into! 😎

Everyone seems hot except me today it's 20C (68F), we've had a few days of hot weather. Should it be 30C (86F) here, they warn them of high temperatures ... :summer08: I have to live in a very cold country. raining
In Sweden we celebrate midsummer tomorrow and then it will be bad weather, unfortunately, we start going darker times now it's almost bright 24 hours a day and it's so beautiful when you wake up at 4 AM and hear the birds quit. :summer012:

I was telling Ben that if we could find a year-round temperate zone on a lake (70-80F / 21-26.6C), we could live on a nice houseboat...

...we could anchor it away from shore at night and then not have to worry about the kitties roaming around on land while we sleep :rofl301:
