Nearby, where I live, there is a miniversion of Göta canal that travels across Sweden and there is our church.

You can rent small mushrooms to slep in.

Oxen Sixten usually draws the canal boat a bit and as a payment he wants a bull he is currently retired.

On Saturday we found this primitive church out in the woods when I got home, I googled and found out that there had been a church there earlier when we were there, there was a vase of fresh flowers and a little madonnastaty on the altar.

Marie these pictures are so beautiful, I would love to visit! The past is so intriguing.

I had to giggle at the little dog tied up to the lamp post, staring at the oxen.......he was probably hoping he wasn't going to be eaten giggle

Oh my Marie! I would just love to be able to visit the mini town as well! It is adorable, and I would love to stay in a tree stump! It would feel as if one is in a fairytale!
I kind of feel sorry for the ox, having to pull the ferry on it's own!!
Thank you for sharing this precious place with us.

I live in Tennessee. I live in a small town were it takes 25 minutes to get to the nearest restaurant and shopping areas. Where I live it had vast green mountains and beautiful ponds and scenery. My house is an old farmhouse with a wooded area in the back.

At a shopping centre not far from me, an irate person looking for parking did this to a car that had literally taken up 2 parking bays. Initially I thought, YAY, that is until I read that the driver of this vehicle was disabled and could not find an appropriate parking bay because they were all taken. Obviously the 'trolley stacker' had not seen the ACROD sticker on the dashboard of the driver's car. crying
I think sometimes people act before they think!

Ah shame Lorry, I can just imagine the hardship the poor person had to go through to get all the trolleys removed.
Yes, we are a very selfish and inconsiderate species at times!

Anita knowing Perth people with their big hearts, that person would have received a lot of helping hands to remove the trolleys......at least I hope!

I hope that shopping center had outside camera's to catch the person/s who did this..they aught to be ticketed and made to pay for any damages done..I can't stand people that are so selfish and mean like that..

The thing is normally they do have camera's, but they are going through a really big expansion, hence the lack of parking bays. I am staying away until all the works have finished.
Yeah it's really sad, I wish I knew if the perpetrators were caught.

I've had to do that - take two spaces...

...because of my physical disabilities and the fact that I can't bend/twist and that Lilly travels with me, I have to be able to open my door all the way.

...when I could walk, I'd just park at the far end of the lot so I wouldn't bother anyone; however, now, I can't do that :(

...sigh

The disabled parking spaces would have enabled this poor person to get in and out of the car with no problems. In fact the space they have taken up (in the picture) would almost be the equivalent to a disabled parking spot. I know I will always think twice now before condemning a person for bad parking!
