Anneke! What an adorable place you live in!

I would still love to see pictures, Anita... just look for the parts you love and share them with us (like your garden).

I live in a nice rental home in Las Vegas, Nevada in the US with my sons, Benjamin and Travis, and Travis' fiancé, Mitchell. We also have Lilly, Isis, Amadeus, and Zorro (my service dog and the kitties who raised her).

Here are a few pictures:

Travis (my oldest), Mitchell, and Benjamin (my youngest)

Where I play Sims and what I do when I'm not playing Sims, lol

Lilly, smiling

Just a wonderfully gorgeous sunset from my backyard

Looking down at the Bellagio Fountain from the Eiffel Tower (Vegas!)

Fountain Show at the Bellagio

Naturally 7 Show in Vegas (awesome acapella group - they are the voices AND the instruments!)

Sunrays breaking through clouds while driving around Las Vegas

Very cool photos!!!

Thank you, Samsarasuperlove!

Travis & Mitchell have moved into their own place in Minnesota where Mitchell is enjoying his Summer vacation from teaching by building furniture and decorating their new home...

...Travis is loving what Mitchell is doing, lol :D <3

Benjamin is doing online writing for my Brother's company and he's loving that as it allows him to do what he loves.

I've moved my laptop setup up to my bedroom and am enjoying sitting in front of it on the chair you can see in my bedroom picture.

All my fur babies are doing splendidly.

~~~How is where you live in Virginia?  I'd love to see pictures!!! <3
What a beautiful place to spend quality time with your hubby Lorry! And it doesn't look cold there at all. Though I know here by us when you are close to the ocean in winter, there may be an icy wind blowing right through you.
I will tolerate that just so I can enjoy the view!
Thank you for the pic..... really awesome!!
Hot AND MUGGY!!!
It does look like the large heat bubble we had last week is heading your way...
You stay cool, too, Angel!
I don't know how you do it, Sam, with the heat and humidity!
Anyone else live with heat and humidity? How do you deal with that?
You sit as close to the fans or air conditioning as you can..and don't move..even in the house it can get hot if your not in front of either lol..well at least in this dump..
Right now it's hot still but cool enough to send the kids out for a couple of hours..and it's about 8:30 pm..
I have heat and humidity both! I'm in Ohio .... but, not as bad as those in the southern states tho.
I pretty much just stay inside in the central air and don't use the oven during the summer. Normally tho, because of the way my house sits, my front porch is usually pretty cool in the afternoon and evening, so we'll sit out on it to get some fresh air. It's still muggy and the air feels stagnant but it's not so HOT at least.
Bad thing, the AC in my car went out last summer! So, I HATE to have to go any place ... so I don't! LOL, I send my daughter to do my errands usually (too bad I can't send her to work out for me! lol
LOL, TJ... maybe your daughter will work out for me? hehehe
I've been trying to get a hold of my property manager because the upstairs AC unit is not cooling things down properly...
...I generally have it set to Auto to conserve energy AND we cannot make it cooler than 72 degrees (which is perfect for me)...
...now, though, it is NOT keeping it cool and I have had to set it to ON (so it runs continuously) in order to have the temperature stay about 76...
...I can live with 76 temporarily, but it is really hard on Lilly. She needs it to be cooler due to all her Saint Bernard fur!
Sigh... hopefully, I'll hear soon... impatient
This air conditioner that we have runs all the time..it never stops even when I clean out the filter it stays on..I do have to turn the fans off before I clean them lol..but otherwise I just leave them running 24-7 as well
As this house is pretty good at maintaining temperature, I like the AUTO function...
...keeps my electricity bill down! :D
Our air conditioner don't have that option..so we are stuck with it on 24-7..and even though it is midnight here..it is so hot in this living room even with 2 fans on me..
I noticed yesterday that Tiffany as sores on her underside from the heat rash..giving her a bath tomorrow and then putting some baking power on her..that is the only thing I can use since I am allergic to perfume
All this talk of hot weather.....I am really envious!
That day I went out to lunch, was perfect, surprising it wasn't that cold despite being right on the ocean.
So it's back to rain.......you wont find much snow in Australia, I've never seen it!
I hope you all keep cool summerB13
