Australia or Hawaii would be a perfect place to live if it were not for all dangerous animals especially spiders.
Here it does not seem to be a real summer it's 23C (73,4F) so it's possible to sit outside but it's blowing all the time.
Lorry: It looks very beautiful where you live. In addition, I did not think there were pines in Australia.

Wow, Lorry!

That is interesting... are you planning on visiting somewhere with snow?

It is fun to see it and play with it...   summerB9

...although I'm super happy to not live with it any more  giggle

~~~~~~~~~~~
The cool thing about Hawaii, Marie?
While there are zero poisonous snakes in Hawaii and only two venomous spiders, the spiders are not aggressive.
When I was living there, the "worst" thing I had to deal with were some lizards that liked to come in and live in my plants - 4 stories up! thlol
Ummm, right now, it's raining. I can hear the pitter patter of raindrops on my window. Welcome to the British Summer raining
But on a positive note, I'm going to Crete soon, and it won't be raining, I'm sure
Lorry - I don't like humidity either! Luckily it's not ALWAYS hot and humid in Ohio, we have it often, but sometimes it's just hot, and sometimes it's just warm and nice out.
Sam - We have gotten a lot of rain lately. I'm done with rain! And, usually in Ohio all the rain does is make it even more muggy!
Tilly - That sounds lovely! I would love to travel!
Suzanne - That gave me the hibbee-jibbies just reading about spiders, snakes, and lizards! LOL
It is one of the things I liked best about Hawaii - a mostly 100% lack of venomous creatures!
*shudder!!!*
Omg, we don't really have venomous creatures. We have a snake called an Adder, which is venomous, but not enough to kill a human. It can kill a small dog though. Fortunately, I've never seen one. We don't have big biting creatures though, no Crocs or Gators or anything like that. I would be beside myself if we did!
We only have a poisonous snake but it can not kill a human being.
Rain we would need, there is low groundwater everywhere since we have not had any real winters for over three years.
from all the programs we have seen on Discovery channel, it seems like if there is a place on earth with the most venomous creatures it will be Australia!
But +in South Africa we have a whole bunch of venomous snakes and spiders. depending on the area you are, but the snakes are all over.
Fortunately they scare easily and will only resort to biting you if you have them cornered.
The spiders are a different story though, they are all over and not always visible. But we learn to live with them.
We have crocodiles, who would not shy away from eating you. Hippos are known to be very aggressive too. We have a number of carnivores: lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas and wild dogs.
But I love living here!
If it's an animal that I really hate, it's spiders that are lucky, there's no big here but enough to cry on one of my sons to kill them and the worst is that they're usually in The bathroom and sitting on the toa when it comes to a spider walking is not fun.
Now we have had a real summer day it has been 25C (77F) It may not sound so hot but that's it for us so I was looking forward to taking some pictures when I was sitting outside for a while in the afternoon.
Bella (My daughter's dog) loves to lie in the sun.
Oh my gosh Marie your pictures are breathtaking, you really do live in paradise.
25 degrees? That's spring for me giggle
Oh yeah Australia has some real bad boys here in the way of venomous creatures,
BUT, I have only ever seen one snake in all my life!
New Zealand doesn't have any dangerous reptiles in spite of being so close to Australia
Oh, how pretty, Marie! What a gorgeous area you live in...
...I didn't know you've not been having real winters there - has that affected water usage for you?
Here in Vegas, there are black widows, brown recluses (rare in Southen Nevada where Las Vegas is), scorpions, and rattlesnakes.
Black widows and scorpions are actually the biggest problem within the city... although outlying areas are likely to have rattlesnakes.
My deal with all bugs is this: If you stay outside, you are cool. If you come inside, you're not.
lol - I have monthly pest control - with Lilly and the kitties, I don't want scorpion issues. <3
:rofl301:
In the deserts surrounding the city of Las Vegas, there is a new and deadly phenomenon encroaching into people's homes and businesses...
...the deadly Black Window!
They eat curtains and blinds while terrorizing small insects attempting to get inside.
Please, please, please, don't feed the Black Windows!
...they're taking over!
...help me...
Anita: I have trees in all four weather but it's a view that you do not get tired of as it changes all the time.
Devilina. Thank you so much. Bella is a dog that's too kind for her best but she's great at catching mice and rats.
Lorry: I understand that it is not particularly hot for you. We had a friend who went to Australia in January and then it was about 40C there and I thought it had to be very hard with that heat.   :summer08:
Suzanne: Your clearance for black windows made me laugh so much that I got tears in my eyes.  laughing1  But black widows ... My husband's friend bought a car from the United States and he got a black widow who lived ... though it did not make it so long.
We have no shortage of water yet, but the groundwater level is low, we have our own well so very deep and we live below a mountain so that some water flows to us so I hope we can manage.
A window wont harm you, unless you break it giggle
