I love Rome. It is a very beautiful city and quite breathtaking. I visited quite a few years ago now, but it was lovely. One of my favourite places to visit is Lucca, not far from Pisa. Thank you for sharing such beautiful pictures

Cool :O I live in Capital of Portugal and it's warm here ^^ I'm actually from another city but I came here to study and I loving it! I like to try cakes and new food with my friends around the city. I really like going to the beach and walk in downtown. We have really nice monuments to visit. Recently Madonna came to live near to my city xD I live with my cat XD he is a cutie :3

What a cute kitty! Portugal is wonderful with gorgeous weather.its under 3 hours to fly from here, so very popular. I can see why madonna would choose to live there, lol

I live in the US, a small town in Virginia. Most people think of Virginia as the south but it is actually Southeast so our accents are not quite as heavy as you see depicted in tv and movies. lol. My area is rural, however. I am surrounded by horses, cows, and trees. I live on land from our family's farm. We do not farm anymore but ours is the oldest African American owned home in the county. It is over 100 years old and my son is the 6th generation of our family to live here. Although we do not currently farm, I would like to begin planting again soon as I am a bit of a doomsday prepper at heart and feel it is important to eat healthy, organic foods, preferably raised by one's own hand.

hi Cherry's
I changed my table lamp
unfortunately I was too late to think about it.
to take a picture of what it first looked like
but it's an ordinary pot lamp with a simple lamp cap
I covered the hood with a boa and the pot lined with branches
It has become a beautiful lamp

aw.. Thank you Anita. :Autumn2017_11:

It looks as cozy as the evening is
I had picked a branch of small acorns from a tree today and put it in the bottle next to the lamp
In the bottle I have done a light on bataries

Sorry for the bad picture  :Autumn2017_2:

Heerin - Portugal is a place I would love to visit - what brought you and Madonna there?

Jfhall - that is really cool! To have a home that 6 generations of your family have lived in? I love it - might you upload a few pictures so we can see?

Anneke - you know I love your lamp... it is so artistic and YOU! <3

I love how your new home is coming along - you have a very unique and wonderful style <3

My oldest and his husband recently moved to Minnesota...

...it has been seriously below freezing there (for me)

...what temperature do you consider to be cold, Kiddo? lol

(apologies for getting your named incorrect)

It's cold. But when we get in the negative and you can actually freeze certain parts... That's freaking freezing.

This is the only place I have ever lived that has a wind Chill factor AND a heat index.  The wind is really blowing tonight.  Luckily it is coming from the south.  Warm air.

I live in a very small town located in South West Virginia. I'm surrounded by mountains and in the fall it's the most beautiful view ever. Only down side of living here is that we have to travel about an hour or so to go to a mall or anything like that.

I live on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi. I'm originally from the eastern seaboard of Virginia where I lived for 23 years. I've been in MS for 10 years now; post Hurricane Katrina. It stays warm most of the year - the only season we really get is summer but it will get cold (30-40ish is the lowest) but I would not have it any other way. I don't like the cold and the snow!!! The summers are hot with nearly 110-120% humidity which I absolutely love. I believe we have the longest man made beach in the world which is a fun random bit of info & if you're like me, I love useless information :wohoo:

I don't have a picture of the length but if you google it, it for sure brings you to Mississippi but this picture is in between 2 cities early in the morning
