I am at work....... so I am stealing some time to be with you all here!
Love the chatter...... I will try to take a picture of the latest addition to my animal family.
I rescued her from the building I work in.
She is the sweetest thing.

Awww Anita I can't wait to see her doggyhug

I saw a beautiful video on Facebook, where a young man from India would walk the streets there and hug the stray homeless dogs. It was so beautiful, all they wanted was some loving, it was so touching crying

I struggle to take a good picture of the fur baby, Terry.... because she is such a cute little terrorist!
But here she is sleeping in my arms:

And here Terry has taken over the basket. They each have their own, but they prefer to sleep together..... to the annoyance of Ciske (the Siamese) who is old and blind and just does not want to be bothered at all.

I will still try to get a good shot of Terry's face.... she is so sweet!

Oh, what an adorable little kitten! She looks like a little Harlequin doll <3

They are so sweet together :D

If Ciske truly hated her, she would have swatted her off the cushion... she's tolerating the baby, which is a very good start :)

They ar each so special in their own way, aren't they?

Well Anita, Terry is absolutely gorgeous, it looks like she has taken to her new home very quickly. My mother in law is Terri, and not half as pretty giggle
The last picture is beautiful, the 3 babies all snuggled up together. It's great that they all get on so well.

Lorry: Chelsea (the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) has the kindest heart. Terry just want to play, and catches her tail all the time. Now, if you know a Cacie, you would know their tails are never still! So she get a good deal of daily exercises with constantly having to get up and walk away to find a quiet spot to sleep.
But soon, Terry would become lazy herself so I enjoy it so much that she is so playful!

Szanne: Yes, I love them as much (almost) as I do my RL kiddies!

Bless her heart, Chelsea is clearly a very patient lady. This is why I love dogs so much, they can not only pick on other animal emotions but humans as well :Spring3

Anita - Your new baby is sooooo adorable! I love her pink little pads on her feet! And, the pic of all of them sleeping together is amazing! I have 2 dogs, one doesn't mind cats and the other one wants to eat them! LOL

Lorry - Had to giggle about your remark about your mother-in-law! I too am a "Terri" .... Terri-Jo, aka TJ

I love my cats and dogs. A lot of people have asked me why I don't have children. It's really none of their business why I don't have human children, and I don't equate my dogs and cats to the rigors of human children; however, I do think that having cats and dogs is as much a way to nurture as having children. I've had pets of my own since my 20s, and I have to say, it's one of the most fulfilling things I've ever done. Unconditional love. That's what I get from my furry babies.

As much as I love my kids, human that is, I find my furry kids are far less stressful, they don't judge, don't answer back, they love unconditionally, always do what they are told, go to bed early, go for walks when I want to........ :Spring3

I love both my two-legs and my four-legs :D

The fur-covered are definitely easier than the less furry ones, lol.

And, Suki? You are absolutely correct. It is no one's business but your own <3

I totally agree!!! It IS nobody's business why you don't have children! And, pets are wonderful, as everybody has already said, they do love unconditionally! They don't sass, don't judge if you're not looking your best, they're perfectly happy to curl up in bed with you all day long if you're sick. I would be lost without mine! They bring so much joy and laughter daily to me. Although, mine are messy! LOL ... I put the toys away in their toybox, and as soon as I'm done, they are strung all over the living room, dining room, hallway, my bedroom again! My "old" furbaby who will be 13 this year, STILL has to bring a toy to bed ..... every single night when I tell her it's bedtime.

I am Lilly's toy...

...well, kinda-sorta, lol... we're partners :D

(she's my service dog, for those that don't know me that well -- yet, lol)

My kitties, on the other hand?

I'm their salt lick!

I'm their scratching post!

I'm definitely their bed! LOLOLOLOL

Oh Suzanne..... you say it just as it is!!
I have two legged and four legged children.
I love them all..... but the two legged ones seem to want to be without you sooner or later, and the four legged ones just want to remain as close as possible..... is that not just adorable..... mine follow me around the house where ever I might go...... even the loo! rofl301 I cannot imagine being without them.

It is like, "what's taking you so long? Don't you know I need pets and rubs and I need to lick you?"
