Here is my current project. It was a pain to make in the beginning because I had to use constrainfloorelevation for the staircase and it was difficult to make the lighting even remotely normal along with the walls that were all misshapen because of constrainfloorelevation, but it turned out pretty good.

I tend to make my kitchens way too bright the majority of the time  giggle
But the house isn't yet finished as I still have to do all the bedrooms and bathrooms. A work in progress at the moment. partying summerB9

Oh my!!! You have indeed built two very impressive houses!!
Even if you consider them to be fully decorated, the beauty of the houses overshadow that totally.
I am very glad you started your album..... I love to drool over the achievements of our members.

Yay you posted the tree house! Its very impressive. Several of the tree houses I've seen are all very small but you managed to do a proper sized house.

The second house is just as impressive. I pity the Sim who has to clean those windows. giggle It looks great.

Melissa I love your tree house! I love your whole album, you are a great designer and decorator. claphands1
Do you play the game as well?
I found with Sims 3, I did everything, it was so easy.......especially after Sims 2.....constant crashing computersmi , it was difficult to enjoy.
Will you go on to Sims 4?

I sit here and look at all those beautiful windows and think I would have to hire a window boy AND a pool boy to do my cleaning.  budhug

I remember (ts2, I think) the mod that let you have permanent help (cook, butler, maid, gardener, etc..)...

...I even built servants' quarters in my houses! giggle

giggle Haha yeah, a butler and maid would definitely be needed. @Lorry I have tried the Sims 4 but I prefer the Sims 3, I am sort of OCD with coloring things to my liking, and the Sims 4 doesn't have the same coloring system as TS3, and you can only pick from a small number of style choices like TS2 color customization. I'm sort of stubborn about this so I stick to the Sims 3 :Spring2: :dancing2: As for actually playing the game, I do on occasion but to be honest I probably spend less time playing then I do building and styling sims giggle

The one thing I miss is recolouring, plus I loved building. As for playing, I could sit playing for hours on end! I still have Sims 3 installed, but for some reason when I take photos, they don't look so good. Sims 4 graphics are much better, plus the CC is amazing.

Lorry, it makes me so happy to know you also enjoy playing! I play and create, can't do the one without the other!
Have you gotten your mojo back yet?

alouette,

I have a theory about those beautiful windows.  Rich people live there.  They do not wash windows.  Nope, they hire a team of handy-dandy windows washers who can get the job done in say -- 20 minutes.
