We love to see your alums, so please share with us!
Here are a few guidelines:
1. You can have ONE album for each game (2, 3 and 4)
2. Please update your album title each time you add content. This can be done by clicking EDIT in the first post of your album. An example would be "Tilly's Album; UPDATED March 2017"
3. No adult content please.
Thank you

Is there a limit to how many pics you can put per post in your album?

I am not sure Rachel, let's wait and see what Tilly has to say.
But I think 10 is the norm.

Hi Rachel,
It is the norm, especially for contests, to limit to 10 pictures per post. For a photo album it can be more, there aren't any restrictions as such. However, the more pictures in one post, the longer it takes for the page to load. You can break it up though: an example of a album about a house, you could put pictures of the exterior in one post, then the sitting room in another, and bedroom in yet another post. This tends to work better, and is just a thought.
Sam, yes, one album per game please. If you play sims 2 and 3 for example, you can have an album for each game.

If there's an actual story, wouldn't that get confusing if it was mixed in with regular photo pics not related to the story though? Isn't the difference between the protfolio section (for random pics) and the story section (for writing with accompanying pics?)

Forgive me if this is obvious, I am newb.

You are indeed correct, Rachel, the portfolio is to showcase your creations, and the story section obviously for the stories.
Naturally, the story section will also contain screenshots.

Oh no, have I been doing this wrong? I just put all my game screenshots (of sims, interior decorating, and builds) into a portfolio because I thought it was for game pics only with no story context. Unless pretty in-game photography counts for creations too?

Sometimes, members do tell a little bit of a story in their member albums, such as introducing the sims who lives in the house etc. This is a portfolio as its about showing what you have created, rather than the story.

Sam, a story and a building album are very different. The writers repose is for creative storytelling and the albums for showing your creations, whether its for build or recoloring/meshing etc.
You can keep your existing albums Sam. What I want to avoid in the future is having a new album each time a member updates their stuff. Obviously, an active album will get very long, if pictures are posted regularly into the album. It is, of course, ok to open a new one, when suggested by Admin or moderators. So, don't worry about this, its just a bit of structure and tidy housekeeping behappy
