Here's a random assortment of my (vast) collection of sim pics. My neighborhood, named 'Isla Del Kashmire' has been around since 2007 so a lot of memories have been captured over the years. Any questions about a sim or any CC, just drop me a line and I will do my best to find it for you.

Rachel,

I love all your pics. They give us all insight to a sim's life in the game.

I would love to see more of them.

Thank you for viewing, maryann!

I do a fair amount of building/decorating too. I just installed the sky and water overhaul mod into my game so here's a pic I took last night of the produce farm.
(I am also testing bigger pic sizes for the new site layout)

Thanks Suzanne. Ahaha it seems this place really likes pics of sims! So more sim life shots to oblige! Since my hood is so old about 80 percent of my sims you see in these pics have been born in-game. Really cool to see genetics at work.

This is a bit about my neighborhood I started in 2007.

Main Hood

This is a sleepy little island town that has a few small businesses such as a bakery, dance studio, and family-owned restaurant. Not much happens here, at least since the syndicates have gone away nearly fifty years ago. Some of the most affluent families in the region own estates on the east-side of the island. The central portion contains a main street rife with shops and a small town park. There are even a few farms on the south-side. There is a community college nestled in the foothills of the north side and the west contains suburban homes.

Kashmire's Downtowns

When the syndicates reigned supreme in the region this city was known as  'Scandal City' but now that crime has calmed down more or less the citizens have taken to calling it it's original name again. It's a boisterous type of metropolis with warehousing, bus lines, a rich night life, and plenty of activities for it's residents from bowling to karaoke. This is also the seat of all political activity in the region. There's many apartments in all shapes and sizes from duplexes to tall penthouse towers for sims craving a more urban lifestyle.

This is Kashmire's cosmopolitain area that celebrates the arts, nature, fine shopping, and gourmet food with it's unique ampitheater, state park, botanical gardens, community produce garden, and Metro Museum of Modern Art. It's also the only place in the region with an indoor concert arena. A sim can grab a coffee and set out and look at the bay, bike along the city's trails, or enjoy the enourmous ice skating rink in the colder seasons. Cross Corner District on the west-side is quaint and contains a small playground, cafe, and resident homes. The Memosa Hills on the north-side is place containing numerous cliffside homes that wealthy or famous sims tend to occupy. The south-side portion of the downtown has apartment row for those wanting a city life but not wanting to buy a house just yet.

It's a desert town to the south of the region where anything goes. Shady motel hook-ups, brothel-service, drive-by weddings, local gambling joints, and a commercial casino are some of it's main draws for visitors. Not many live in such a place. Some of the more savory attractions are it's rugged campground, unique oasis and spa, and the local artisan market. Considering how unruly the place can get, its odd that the syndicates never touched this town.

Shopping District

A small settlement that packs a lot of pizazz. It's mostly a series of boardwalk shops and prime beach front for surfing and sunbathing for sims looking to come out from the city on a weekend. The shops have just about everything to buy, there's an art gallery, family aquarium, food stand, and even a small amusement park! The other side of Kashmire Point contains expensive beach homes, but so far everyone prefers to visit so there's only a population of 1.

I like how you introduce your players/sims. And your description of their characters brings them to life for us all.
This spikes my interest in learning more about the BOTB, and how things are going to turn out for all of them!
Lovely album.

Thanks Suzanne! I truly love this game, it's my one true game for sure! I never ever get bored of it and I'm lucky that my hood hasn't imploded from all the VBT's I did back in the day before I knew better.

So I've gathered some pics of the Hart Family. Matthew Hart is a pre-made you get with the Uni expansion and he had such a nice face that I let Kimmy Palmer marry him. They are one of the unique families in the hood because I allowed Kimmy to achieve her goal of having six kids get married and their children's names are all musical entities. Kimmy and Matthew have since passed but their brood of musically-named children are now adults though no one has yet to carry on the tradition. Except Harmony, who inherited the family home keeps buying birds and naming them such things as 'Lyric', 'Pizzacato', 'Symphony', etc

The other unique aspect was that Kimmy was the only sim I created with golden eyes so the Hart family exclusively carries the gene material and so far it has manifested in Harmony, Adagio, and Melody. Melody's twins inherited the golden eyes and at least one of Adagio's kids did too. So it's fun to see where that pops up in the family tree!

Here was a photobooth pic of Kimmy and Matthew in College and then as new elders:

Here's the children's progression of aging:

Harmony is the eldest. She was pretty shy and bookish as a teen. She graduated from Academie Le Tour and went into Education and now is a college professor at Sim State. She has three children named Nicholas, Chane, and Kit. She married Elm Calhoun.

Andante is Adagio's twin. He was more outgoing than his brother and a lot more of a jock. He works in the public service sector as Chief of Police of Memosa Bay and has to commute since he moved back to Isla Del Kashmire. He married his childhood sweetheart, Madison Piper and has two children named Stacia and Xander.

Adagio always liked red-heads but ended up with a brunette named Raine Phoenix. He was childless for a long time--he and his wife wanted to go places and do things but now they have two tykes named Hazel and Harrison. Adagio works in simtelligence as a secret agent but that's not common knowledge for security puposes.

Melody is basically the quirky middle child because she counts her two youngest and two older twin-siblings as one unit. She was very extroverted and popular in high school and now works as a general practitioner in Isla Del Kashmire's medical field office. She had her own set of twins (and blames the genes on her twin siblings) named Roderick and Rosaline. She married a quiet business man named Anton Kapitha.

Rhapsody, Sonatas twin, was kind of grungy in her teens and played a lot of guitar and listened to emo music. She was a late bloomer for sure but made up for it in college. She found high chemistry with one of the affluent Cosgrove family members named Felix. They live in Memosa Bay, and Rhapsody is a stay-at-home mother to her two children, Caleb and Colleen. She paints as a hobby and sells her art.

Sonata was more than a bit boy crazy in her teen years and that aspect followed her to college where she joined the sorority scholarship house at Academie Le Tour and was one of the best partiers in the Greek Society. Her on-again-off again relationship with the handsome and moody Skyler Greystone solidified after she graduated and they were married. She started up a pottery business with her in-laws and has one son named Noah and another child on the way!

Here are some of their group family Pics:

The Cosgroves are the weathiest family in the Kashmire Region. They come from 'old' money and that money may or may not have ties into the old syndicates. Hoever it was highly suspicious when they packed up and moved out of the region only to return many years later to their home estate in Isla Del Kashmire. The Cosgroves are known for pouring their wealth into social works and functions. They own a historic neopolitain ballroom and theater in downtown Scandalica City that can be rented for galas, they've thrown charity balls to raise money for Kashmire's animal shelters or medical research. Delilah Piper ('nee Cosgrove) had a scholarship program and sorority home built and named after her grandfather, Raul S. Cosgrove.

The core family was Raul, his daughter MIndy, son Dillon, and granddaughter, Delilah (Mindy's daughter). Mindy and Dillon were very beautiful sims and their pretty genetics have spread through the generations, branchinf out into different familys that couple with the Cosgroves.

The Cosgrove Estate is patriarchal inheritance, meaning the eldest male son and his family will live on the estate when he comes of age.

Dillon inherited the estate, and married an heiress named Samantha Cosgrove and had twin sons Pryce and Peirce. Pryce inherited the estate once he came of age and continues to live there with his wife, Adrianna ('nee Orbinson). He has three children--Mira, Melinda, and Marshall who are all young adults. Mira just graduated and lives in Scandalica City as a junior architect.

Here's some old vacation snapshots of current patriarch, Pryce Cosgrove and his wife Adriana. The last one is of his twin, Peirce and wife Jillian who went on vacation with them.

Here's them introducing the charity the tickets of their masquerade ball went to, thanking donors as well.

They went back to Twikki with their girls (their youngest was too young at the time)

Here's a family pic of Pryce and his family out in the estate's orchard and a later one in the living room at Christmas

Pryce and Adriana with their eldest daughter, Mira  (who lived at the afore mentioned Raul S. Cosgrove scholarship house)

Price and Adrianna are now elders but I have yet to get some current shots of them. Pryce's borther, Peirce went on to marry Jillian Wellington and had one son named Felix.

Here's some of Pryce and Jill's wedding photos; they were married at the Cosgrove estate Orcahrd too.

Peirce and Jill as elders, they were always the more reserved type of characters and share comfortable silences with each other. They are both interested in persuing knowledge. Jillian is a specialist in the science career and Peirce is in the upper tier of the natural science career. They have two grandchildren via Felix (and Rhapsody Hart) named Caleb and Colleen.
