I have received permission by Orangemittens to post links to their tutorials here at our forum.
Please note that I may not recreate the posts here, but you will find it supportive as well to go read the tutorial at her forum, since they also offer great support to creators.

We will be hosting our first recolor contest soon, so you can start referring to the tutorials  for recoloring objects.

1. To familiarize yourself with the tool Sims 4 studio start with this topic HERE
It will assist you in getting to know how and understand the tool.

2. To recolor an EA object this is the tutorial you will need to follow.

3. To recolor custom content, read more about it HERE.

Remember when you do recolors in sims 4 that you have to pay specific attention to the bump(the detail of the object) and specular (the shininess of the object) maps. You will find more info about that HERE
For exclusive content.
