One thing ..... may be the only one though...... that bothered me about the ea furniture for the sims 4 is the tiny round dining table. When you have four sims sitting at the table they look extremely cramped in, and I want to change that.

Little did I know what I am getting myself into. Meshing the table was a breeze!

Because I made the table much bigger, I had to move all the rigs and bones to keep proper animations in place. I got it right for four chairs. I still need to do some fiddling around with the remaining four.

The animation (correct sitting position and to move the chair back and forth) is still in place. The other four chairs are currently been used as ordinary chairs. Hold thumbs that I will be able to get it right.

This is for sure the most difficult task I attempted in all my days of meshing!

If I get this right I am going to make this into my first full room set for the sims 4!!

The newcrest house is my favourite of you for now.I enjoy the living room colours and the bedroom is sublime.
What I enjoy the most in your Windenburg (I loved that city too) house is the exterior, the patio.Wonderful job anyways .I know how it's hard to find the right inspiration for the sims 4.I don't know why it mades me feel unconfortable when I played this game.

MissV and Colleen: Thank you so much! I try to clutter to make the rooms look more inhabited, but I struggle with that.
I will soon share more rooms.
I like Windenburg more, and then only he houses that face the "beach". Love those.

Tougher because you surely has got a lot of beautiful CC in your folder and you can't choose :) I did not visit the beach I went to the Ruins, I went to the natural pool , and I went around the castle and I saw a ghost lady.

Abandoned House
built by femmeonamission

This house can be downloaded here

A few of us has decided to give the renovation of this house a go.

I have decided to put the start and progress of my renovation up here in my album.

Here are a few "before" pictures (Photos by femmeonamission)

MY STORY

Wayne and Fiona Cameron had been looking for a good, sturdy property to buy and renovate since her husband's transfer to this little town called Willow Creek.

She was on her way to visit a new friend when she took a wrong turn, but then passed this abandoned house. She stopped and took a look around, since there was no "No trespassing" boards up, she took a peek through the windows.

The house and garden was in a real bad state! But she loves a challenge, and if they were to be able to buy this house, it would keep her busy for a long time, and she would be able to make her family a new home.

She went to the local realtor to find out more about the house. She was told that the late owner had no family in the country, and the bank tried to get the house sold at an auction, but nobody around here was really interested in buying the old house.

Fiona immediately phoned her husband to get his guidance, and when he gave her his blessing to go ahead and find out more, she drove off to the bank. Her planned visit to her friend all but forgotten!

They made an offer to buy the house, and Fiona was just ready to think that all is lost, when at last after three weeks she got a letter from the bank that their offer was accepted.

They were informed that it is a very old house, and before they break down any walls, they would need to get it approved by the Herald's office. This made her even more happy, for she knew she found them a gem!!

To find a contractor in a small town was very difficult, so she had to go to the city, Windenburg to get the services of a well respected firm.

Now the building and renovating of the house can begin in all earnest!

What a stunning makeover renovation ! So modern and welcoming.
Fiona was right to buy this house, people are so much afraid of ruined houses but despite the price you have to pay for makeovering it often heavy, she got the freedom to do as she wants.

She is a bit hesitant now to proceed, not sure where to start.....

Anita I loved your Abandoned House makeover :multistars:   Funnily enough, mine is somewhat similar, hopefully I will soon have access to post pictures and start an album.

I looked through your whole album and I thought it was fabulous.  I noticed one of your comments about being shy about posting your work, I am the same, but you need not worry your pictures are lovely.  :summer5:
