Anita I did make a rather long comment yesterday and I thought I had posted it, but clearly it didn't show up...... angry

I loved looking at your Lake House build again, because I find it is so interesting. You made it real with the animals, and I can't wait to see what you do with the interior.
Oh and I think your house is fabulous, great build my dear.
I really do think you have created a masterpiece here, congratulations on this rare gem winner

Anita - this is gorgeous! I love the realism you've brought to your build...

That you've modeled after your own place is really, really cool - I cannot wait to see the insides!

I am going to have to go back and look at them all over again :D :D :D

Bea - here are animal links for you - some are lots with included and listed cc... some are lists... some are actual links to downloads. I hope this helps :D

Sunkal, I don't remember where I got the hippo from. I will check for you and get back to you on that one. I used the monkeys from Jennisims in this build as well, but I would need to recolor them to be more realistic to the African scene. I found you the hippos!!
HERE is the link. Enjoy.

Lorry, thank you so much, Sis.... you know, when I looked at the pics again I saw so many flaws..... but I am happy to read that you like the build. I am my own worst critic.

Suzanne, thank you my dear! I appreciate your feedback so much! I did a little decorating last night and hope to find the pieces I am looking for later today..... I am still having a lot of fun.
Might even play this house a little.

You're welcome, Bea :D

Anita - I so relate! I keep "needing" things, lol...

...so I minimize my game and go cc shopping! rofl301

...then, I go back into my game and do some more until I absolutely need the things I went out and found before closing out and adding in the new items... runcircle

Anita just finished browsing all your albums, I had to rewind my tongue to put it in the mouth by the astonishment and wonder of your homes, you have the attention to the unbelievable details I'm literally drooling (a little vulgar but correct) and those walls of Which you talked to in January I can not wait to share them. Still so many compliments.

Patty, I am very honest when I say that your comment is truly building my spirit! I do not share a lot of my in game builds/creations. Firstly because I feel them being a little personal but mostly because I don't think it good enough to share.
So you can just imagine how your words warmed my heart!

Suzanne, you I treasure! bigsmile

Sunkal, I am so happy you found something new as well. I love her stuff!

I have finished the interiors of the Marloth House.
I first want to say that it is intended to reflect a vacation home in the middle of the Lowveld in S A.
The area is very bushy, with lots of creatures living there.
Because we don't stay there permanently, we do not have the house "fully" furnished as one would do a permanent home.I have improvised a little with this house to keep the eye interested. Most of the items we do have but just not as "new".

I hope you enjoy the pictures with me.

Just two last pictures of the outside:

The patio, where we spend many hours with family and friends.

One really can not leave anything edible outside, for these little monkeys will pay you a visit for sure.

The layout of the house is true to the real floor plan. We do not have real flowers in the house due to the humidity and the fact that we are not there permanently. But seeing some in these pictures made me think I should invest in a few plastic ones.

The dining room is almost similar to what we have,

The view to the kitchen, which is exactly similar for the one we have, except for the type of wood. Ours is a red cherry wood.

The living room is a true reflection as well, minus the portraits. One cannot hang something against the walls, for the geckos and other small insects will make a home behind it.

And here is my spot..... now just imagine my hubby lying on the couch with the television on.....

The downstairs bathroom. Looks bigger because I zoomed out a bit. We have only one counter and not as grand as this one.

The main bedroom.

The loft, which doubles as a bedroom. We sometimes (like over the Christmas Holidays) have up to 16 guests here.

The one bedroom, where my son and his wife usually stays.

The second bathroom, which also does not have as grand counters as in this pictures.

The third bedroom decorated by our daughter Vicky in similar colors.

She is more than welcome to join the hunk there, Poppy!
I cannot remember his name since I just created him to teat the pond.
But I think he is quite handsome.
Wish I could spoil you all there for a weekend.
