Oh Anita !!! Great work !!
I like the modern style that you used in this house, and I really like the patio I also downloaded that set but I still could not use it. The houses in Oasis spring are perfect for this style. I really like pics with Sims :bravo:

It is so nice to see that you have updated your album!

OMG you have done such an amazing job on furnishing this house, it's quite incredible.

Everything is perfect, I love all the rooms. The kitchen is fantastic, it's sooo big, plenty of room to move for a growing family.

I look forward to seeing more of your decorating, we really don't see enough and you are so good at it bighugs2

I love how you've done their house Anita and it's so festive too. Are you going to take all the decorations down now? I have been wondering about a house I built over the holiday and decorated with all the festive stuff. I think I might just put it away until Christmas and move the family out.

The slanted windows are such a nice touch and change the house completely.

:thy: :thy: :thy: so much for all the lovely comments. I appreciate each one of them!

Lorry, I do hope that I will have more time this year for decoration all the houses I have in my neighbourhoods. And thank you for the compliment. :bigHugs:
I liked changing the one for the Landgraabs.
Nikki, yes I have taken down the decorations in their house, and have to find new stuff to fill the blank spaces. But it is going to be fun.
I hope to do so soon, and will then add the pics as well as the rest of their story.

It had been quite a while since I have updated my portfolio, but I have been working on a house for one of my families, and thought I would share it with you.

I did not take a before picture, but the sims 4 players may know the house the Pancakes lived in. At the time that Rico Woodworth and his wife was looking for a bigger house for their family, they were introduced to this house..... it had been vacated long ago after Bob Pancakes died and his wife Elisa found herself a smaller place to stay. The house was a bit neglected, but Kaileigh was quite happy with that since the house they lived in currently was a newly built and she found the rooms too small.

It was the backyard that sold her the house.....

Second part of the Woodworth house:

Kaileigh liked the bare brick walls of the kitchen, and decided to keep it like that. She is still browsing for good art for the walls but ran out of steam a bit..... and out of money.
They decided to break down the wall to the small bathroom, and extended the kitchen. Keileigh is a great cook and wanted a bigger kitchen.

Here are two of the boys busy with their homework.

The hallway. The pic is a bit dark.

The living room.

Kaileigh kept the old fireplace but added new walls to the room.

Third part of the Woodworth house:

The dining room:

The landing was furnished to create a study area for Rico and the boys.

And just some funnies:

The boys clearly do not like going to school:

The one with the pumpkin head is actually an alien. Poor Rico got abducted and came back impregnated. Usually I would have gone out of the game without saving, since I don't like aliens in my game. But I wanted to see how the game would evolve having an alien child. I keep him in disguise due to the metallic voice he has. LOL.

And this is what happens if you delete your mods folder to start fresh.
All the other families show up in the neighbourhood barely dressed! ROFL

OH MY GOSH you make me want to play the game!
I used to play for hours and hours, but haven't played for about a year now hmmm

Ohhhh poor Rico....... lol  Pumpkin Head.......can't he have surgery to remove it from his  head?

I am absolutely in love with everything here and I have a few WCIFs giggle

Firstly where is this house Sis?
Because I haven't played I have no idea

I'm in love with the backyard, especially the pond.  You know I am drawn automatically to plants, I think you've done an amazing job, i have explored it over and over and have found many things I MUST have!

WCIF

The ducks.....I love the ducklings

The paving, fence, the hanging plants by the door (I think I have these)  and pergola

And last one.....the dining room set

This post has really enlightened me......I feel so inspired to play for a bit now
Great work Sis wow

Sam, he is the alien, but you can disguise that by dressing him in ordinary clothes.
The tin voice is just annoying, but I will take a pic of him as an alien and show you what he looks like.

Lorry, the pond is created with the pool tool. The sims can actually swim in it, I only used the green pool shade that comes with the game.

I should actually make a video of the duck and the birds, but both are from Bakie and you can find them here.
They really look very cool ingame!

Terrain paint by Pralinesims here.

The fence and pergola are part of this set by Buffsumm.

The dining room: Mare Nostrum by Kardofe.

I will have to check when I go in game again regarding the hanging plants.

I feel so thrilled to read that I can be a source of inspiration for you too, Sis. It makes me so happy!

I love the house. The garden, the brick wall in the kitchen and the fireplace are absolutely wonderful. Stacky child, it must be hard to round with the head in a pumpkin.

Thank you Crissi for the beautiful signature

Sis you really did inspire me, so much so, that I went and found the Pancakes house.  I was blown away with how you transformed the backyard.
I noticed the house next door and decided to take a peek, and before I knew it, I was performing a makeover huhh2
LOL I can't wait to furnish the house now.....see what you did to me :girlie5:

Thank you for all the links, I do recall the pergola now, but I have never used it.  Thank you for using it in your makeover, otherwise I would never have wanted to use it.
I couldn't find Bakie's ducks at Sims4Studio, but it was so enjoyable browsing through everything.......I am going to download the Koi aquarium woot

Would this be where you got the ducks from?
HERE

I also remember kardofe's dining set, I didn't get it because there was no white set!
kardofe doesn't do a lot of white sets, which is a shame crying2
I did like it in your picture though!

I only download Bakie's stuff from the Sims4Studio. I gave you the wrong page, the ducklings can be found on page two.

Can you believe that it was the Pergola that inspired me to redo the backyard?
Usually I don't install stuff like that, since I tend to decorate in a more formal way, but I got carried away with the backyard.

And it so nice to have the family gatering there, because of the sounds of the ducks and the doves flying in and out.

I just love it.

I am glad you got inspired by ME!! Phew, what an honour.
I am looking forward to see what your makeover is going to look like.

I still have to take pics of the layout and outside of the house. As soon as I have I will upload them here as well.

Anita that's all it takes! If a pergola is going to bring back your mojo, then I say 'BRING IT ON' chlead1

It's quite weird sometimes how an object can have a huge impact giggle

Thank you for the link to the ducks! I did look this morning, but hubby and I were going out, and I was rushing.

I'm am so happy you were carried away with the backyard, you were in the 'ZONE' and thoroughly enjoying yourself busy4

I look forward to seeing the rest of your pictures.

I have started gathering CC for my 'inspired by Anita' makeover :girlie5:

Lorry, I feel so stupid!! I thought it was the Pancakes house, but when I went in again to see if I could get a pic of the alien boy for Sam , I saw it is the Brook Bungalow.

giggle so I think we are renovating the same house.... and it is going to be amazing to see our different takes on it.

I am glad you found the ducks.

LOL you aren't stupid at all......never never!

I went and checked, we are definitely NOT doing the same makeover.
We certainly have different styles, you decorate in a calming style while mine is screaming loud, it would be great to see the two differences though!

Brook Bungalow shall have to wait now, I am really enjoying the one I am making over at the moment.....it's called something Roost giggle
Sorry I didn't pay much attention to the name
