A Full Family....

Sam was showing so much interest in the legacies, but the rules and way to play made it difficult for her to get her head around to start. So I started thinking of another challenge that would make it more easy for our members who still play the game to join.

Naturally, there would have to be rules. Without rules that changes the gameplay, there would be no challenge and in the end turn out to be just another ordinary game.

In this legacy, A Full Family, you are challenged to:

* Start with a founder sim who has the desire to have a family.

* The founder sim may only have $1800 simoleons to start his/her life. Buy a big but empty lot to start with. (You therefore have to find a way to give away your money in was described in the basic rules.)

* Only the founder sim or the heir may have a job. If you want to run a business only the founder or heir sim may do that. The rest of the family will be supported by the founder/heir. (This rule is necessary since if all are allowed to bring in money the game would be too easy)

* Your goal would be to reach your founder sim's and thereafter the heir's lifetime aspiration. Only once the aspiration has been reached may you have another.

* You may not use any cheats, none at all.  I am not referring game mods, like giving better lighting, or using cc in your game to have prettier sims, but cheats like adding money, extending your life etc.

* You may not restart your game without saving if something bad happened to your sim. (We would not know it, but you would)

* Your legacy family must remain on the original chosen lot throughout the legacy.

* You must play all the born sims, and they must remain in the legacy household until they die. Choose wisely therefore how many kids your founder/heir sim will have.

* You must choose at the onset who the heir will be. Refer to the basic rules about this. Only the heir may get married and have offspring eligible to be the heir. If another family member has a child, that child will not be able to become the heir. (The mod that allows more than the maximum members in the household may be used)

* Spouses must be townie sims (you may create your own townies). The spouse may not add funds to the family house.

* You may send the children to university, but the money they receive upon completion of their degrees must be donated. The founder/ heir has the duty of support.

*  Play this legacy until you have successfully reach the 10th generation.

You must have fun playing!

Oh I like this idea Anita. It makes so much sense to someone like me, who has no idea how to play a legacy. I just might give it a go!!!

I am glad you like this one, Sam. It will make me very happy if you decide to play along. I love legacies (since I still after all the years still play the game LOL)
But my others are to far off to share here so I started the new one with Antonia Reese.

This is fantastic! I have never played a legacy game, (ok, I have never played for very long besides being a beautician in Open For Business, because I get distracted by wanting to "beautify" everything around me! LOL

But, My daughter actually "plays" and she said she'd like a legacy challenge, so I'll show her this later on and see if she'd like to try it too
