Suzanne - Your post soooo tickled me! You actually sounds just like how I am! Something just jumps out at me and stays in the back of my mind while I'm scrolling thru my things and it won't leave .... "Me! Me! Me! Pick me! NOoooo! You don't want to use THAT chair! You want to decorating around my beautifully made chair!"

So, in the end, yea 9x outta 10, you guess'd it ..... the noisy, won't leave me alone object ends up winning after all .... but, I have to play this game with it and continue to scroll thru every object just to let IT know it's not the boss! LOL

And, I have stayed up all night long way too many nights to count ... I used to be so badly addicted to creating for Sims 1, I'd stay up some times til 3am or 4am and not even go to bed before I left for work at 5am. Now, I only stay up til about 12pm and then I force myself to go to bed on week nights, weekends? that's a whole different story! LOL

And, I have a sneaky little confession to make ..... I was getting feedback from a creator's standpoint. I wanted to see what rooms you enjoy most so I knew what types of rooms to create and offer for download .... and, I was fervently praying the majority of people wouldn't say kitchens or bathrooms!!! LOL

Needless to say, it seems that alot of people like living rooms and bedrooms, which is so YAYYYY with me! Cause those are my most fav to create so watch out! LOL

I don't think I could choose a favorite... Architecturally bathrooms are my least favorite trying to fit everything right, and kitchens are difficult because I can never find matching cabinets and counters that I like. I love nurseries but rarely find a lot of cc for them, which is a shame because you can really get creative with those.

Well Kira, I don't have toddlers but I do have a couple SIMspiration pics of some adorable nurserys (at least to me they were)

So maybe I'll try my hand at one, but I'll need testers to try it out before it's released to make sure that it works ok because I'm sure I'd use some TS2 or TS3 objects to convert for them.

Your response, TJ, made me crack up laughing!!!

Seriously, LOLOLOLOL

I do understand...

...just as long as what you are creating makes you happy, then make your fans happy, okay? :D

For me, any room can be fun to build as I attempt to make them as realistic and real life as possible - even the weird shaped, tiny, over-large, etc. type rooms, houses, renovated non-home buildings... because we do that all the time in the world.

If we can envision it, then we can build it <3

I love Kitchens!!
I feel there is so much you can do in a kitchen, i go overboard with pantries and butlers pantries. Most of the time i find my kitchen has gravitated into alfresco dining.

Now that sounds very interesting Paige, it would be great if you can share some of your kitchens in our Portfolio thread. We love to drool over the creations of our fellow simmers.

Okay, you kitchen decorators out there (there are a lot of you, lol)...

...what is it about kitchens that draw you so much?

...what type of clutter is that you like? Food? Dishes? Other?

...what style of cabinetry do you prefer?

...anything else you'd like to add?

Inquiring minds want to know, hehehehehe <3

I avoid living rooms at all costs... I love doing bedroom and kitchen! but a lot of my builds tend to be tiny studio apartments so it's just one big room...

I love decorating outdoor seating areas and kitchens.
Adding an abundance of plants and sheer curtains to any room is my go to "atmosphere' creating tip too.

The you must check out the latest I-Create inspiration I added over the weekend, PXL, since you are inspired to build a open and airy and bright patio/veranda.

For me the most fun of the sims 4 is the decor, I can spend hours with a living room!! Sometimes I start with a painting or a carpet and from there I decorate everything else !!

I like completely renovating an entire house to fit my Sims personality. The more clutter the better.
