Seriously, Marie, Anita is correct!

You build and decorate so fast!!!

This is a great build and I agree with Lorry, too - slope, no slope - your build is amazing!

Marie - Ohhh I was immediately struck by the look of this house! It almost reminds me of a church converted into a house and has the look of what I imagine houses in Sweden would look like! I can picture it on a hill!

Are the stairs diagonal? or at an angle? Wahhhh *cries* I want that in TS4!

I LOVE that kitchen! I love the detail on the handles and the drawers! So nice and modern shaped! And the tile backsplash is gorgeous! And, I love that shelf on the window with the little "fence" around it (not sure what to call, a ledge maybe)

And, I adore all those scales! I want one in RL so bad to use as deco, except I don't want a new shiny one, I want an old, vintage one. But, I love all of them in different colors and sizes that your girl has collected!

The table is so pretty with the doily and I love that she's got a cupcake cookbook sitting out, looking like she's about to make a grocery list of all the ingredients she'll need to make something delicious!

I really like how you used the pastel colors!

And upstairs, is that curtain? or a door? or a window, mirrors? The hanging thing with the rectangles dangling down?

Oh My Goodness! You have a blowdryer that's even plugged into the wall! I LOVE IT!

Ohhhh I love how you used the wall that is trimmed in squares in the bedroom and how it makes it look like the cabinets are built in! Fantastic job! And, that mirror is absolutely GORGEOUS!

I love that little outdoor sitting area with the girly umbrella! .... Ok, I love everything about this house! You did awesome! And, if you had not have told us, I would never have known it should have been built on a hill! It's wonderful as it is!

TJ: Thank you so much.
The stairs are swinging at the bottom and the top and straight in the middle it's a little hard to explain but I post a link to the stairs, maybe it's possible to convert to TS4
link http://www.simlogical.com/sl/Sims2Pages/Sims2_Stairs.htm (winding stairs)
The kitchen was making me mad at the original where the handles were black which was not good I tried to make a recolor on the handles but it did not work but with a lot of help on a forum we managed to figure out how to do (I think it's a kitchen converted from TS4)
I love the shelves because they have slots so I usually use them like windowsills and backsplash is also very good as you can move up and down.
Upstairs there is an arch with a drapery made of wood.
I would also like to have a really old scale, preferably one with hanging bowls,
I myself have a digital scale as it is very practical.

Ohhh the stairs are fabulous! I never saw those when I played TS2 regularly! And, no sadly we don't have anything like that for TS4. crying2

Anita - check out the link Marie put in for the similogical stairs - I can't remember if they were adapted to ts3 or not - the last one consists of fake landings. Maybe all those pieces could be used as a base for the stair piece project (I haven't forgotten, lol).

TJ - while there are no top and bottom winding stairs, you are aware of all of 13pumpkins' deco stairs for ts4, right?

They are great for deco --- I'm still attempting to figure out how to use them with the invisible stair, but haven't found a good way - yet.

I think that if someone were to take the teleport portion of the "working" elevators (in my elevator thread in Tech Edge) and just make that piece like an omsp (visible for placement, recolorable so as not to interfere with the look), players wouldn't mind not seeing sim stair-walking animations as long as the sims could get up and down the stairs...

...that is what the "working" elevator does, btw - just like they do with EA elevators in San Myshuno.

It's a thought - well, several of them, lol.

...what do you all think?

I fell in love with this house as soon as I saw it and just have to build it. Pictures on the original are last in the post.
Because I chose to use reflective floors, the game so much lagged that it was barely possible to move the camera and now see that the floor has disappeared in some places.

OMG Marie! I am IN LOVE with this house! It's not your normal style but you rocked it! It looks amazing!

That kitchen is to die for! Love those counters and cabinets! The laundry room would be a dream to have in RL! (Again, more CC I've never had! That sink with the curtain is soooo fabulous!)

I love that pocket watch clock on the wall too! All your little statues placed around look awesome and I LOVE that bedding in the master bedroom! Those pillows look like actual silk or satin!

I really liked your mix of traditional and modern pieces! I would love to recreate this one (or try to) in TS3 ... but I took out all my CC to challenge myself to build and decorate a house using only EA packs and store content so it would not be nearly has spectacular as yours. Maybe I'll try to replicate it anyway!

TJ: It would be fun to see it in TS3. I only have the bass game of sims 3 because I do not know how to download things (or I'm wrong) but maybe I should try to build a house anyway.

Marie I really love this house, both the real and your build! The decor is fabulous as always. The modular ceiling surround is a great addition, it makes the room look rounded!

Do you just Google images for your houses?
Is there more in this range? I think the style is gorgeous

T.J. I would love to see you have a go at this stunner......I would like to do it too :Spring2:

Thank you Lorry.
I'm looking for pictures using google or pinterest and write, for example, modern houses.
The look of the house that made me fall for it, unfortunately, there is nothing similar but I found a link to the page where I found the house.

Marie! This is such a gorgeous build - I so miss the reflective floors like this in ts4 - they are so seamless in ts2 :D

I love your colors and the master bedroom bed is spectacular!

Great family room and I just adore your exterior landscaping.

Thank you so much for sharing this build <3

Thanks so much.
Sam: Maybe I build house number 7 they are so big so it's hard to know how to fill all the rooms. Now I'm holding a lot of small houses but sometimes it's fun to build something big so I'll try to build it.
I hope I can inspire someone else.
Livia and Sam: Just come and take it.
Sam has got links to all my houses so she should have a lot.

Marie, I love this house!! It is so beautiful, and the outside even far prettier than the inspiration pic you showed.
And you decorated it so stylish!
I am forever drooling over your pics, and the amazing amount of stunning cc you have in your game.
The reflective floors really add to the glamour of this house. It looks fabulous!

Thank you so much.
Lorry: It's fun that you like the houses.
Anita: The reflective floor gives a different feeling, but this house was enough for it was impossible to move the camera. Then it will be more big houses so I can take one room at a time.

Built two small houses after a drawing that I found on the internet a long time ago, they are mirrored with the same floor plan. The camera angles are not really good, but because it's a small house, it's hard to get well.

Marie - These are absolutely adorable! The look from the outside remind me of beach cottage rentals in Florida!

I loved how you did one girly and feminine and the other side more masculine and modern! That was great!

And, OMG! That guest bathroom is soooo tiny, I wonder if you would be able to turn around in it in RL or if you would have to back out! LOL

I love that painting group over the sofa and the little upholstered chair in the kitchen with the the lace table cloth is lovely!

You always amaze me at how well you decorate such tiny spaces! I can not do that! I like to decorate with my walls up and not looking down into the room, you're great at it tho!
