Now this house was not quite like the original on the outside There is a 2 room between the entrance and the bedroom's street which I could not figure out what it would be used to say "bed dressing cloths" ...
Should there be a room for storing bed clothes in?
Does anyone have an idea of what to use?
I turned it into a small guest room.

How cute is this..house Marie.. bighugs2

The floor plans look bigger..

That guest bedroom does look a bit small and doesn't have a closet..so I would use it for storage..putting shelves in there to put bedding and whatever else in there..but that is just me lol..

Thank you so much Crissi, it's beautiful

Marie, you are astounding!!
And your energy is amazing.
I like this home a lot too.
I really like your style, and the way you give each house you create a character of it's own!
I just LOVE that chair you used in the bedroom....is that a recolor or the original mesh?
Would you mind to tell me where to find it?

Thank you so much.
Sam: I know my house got too big. I usually try to count the cupboards in the kitchen, windows and doors to try to get to a floor plan, but in this case the bedroom became too big. I got a room with a chest of drawers in the guest room, just curious about what the room was for because it had a few doors without but seemed to be an open space.
Anita: The chair is nice. It's a new mesh from Lady Raven from Simspearl. You can find the chair on her Tumblr under the armchair category (I know there was trouble downloading so I got an alternative link from here too.) She allows conversion
tumblr: http://nelphaell.tumblr.com/
Alternative link: http://www.mediafire.com/file/mmappsolbvuo7xm/Hyde+B%26BItalia+Armchairs.zip
I know TJ asked for her chair in November but I do not know if she has converted it.
Bea: Thank you so much.

I love this real to sims build, Marie :D

btw, the room you weren't sure of? In the past (olden days, lol) small rooms like this were actually used to store clothes and change in...

...turning it into a small guestroom is a wonderful idea <3

(me, I'm boring... lol I probably would have made it a cleaning supply closet LOL)

I suspected that there was such a thing, I have a similar room under my staircase where you throw in everything you do not really know what to do.

10 Oak Street

I found this little house in Pleasantview and wanted to make a makeover on it.

I found this text on Sims Wiki:
10 Oak Street is a small shack-like house. It is designed for simple, rustic living. This house can be found around the forest near the upper left of the trailer park if positioned against the sea. Inside the house there is a pink fridge, a yellow stove, and a green potbelly stove. There is no bedroom. The bathroom has blue tile, a sink and a toilet. The shower is outside. There are many different types of trees outside. The house is very cramped and hardly fits one Sim, let alone larger families.

Many players don't even notice this house as it is small and situated in a part of the town that is not easily visible, with trees all around it. There are no houses nearby.

Thank you so much.
I hope my new house will be ready tomorrow (Saturday) and it's bigger than this, I was supposed to be ready today, but then I had to be a babysitter for Lexie and then I'm with her instead. Later in the day Jamie came and said "what big house you have built grandmother"

Marie - I am in love with this little house! I still am so amazed by all the beautiful and unique CC that you always use!

And, OMG! That fireplace is to die for! Are the barn doors part of it? I would sooooooo love to convert that for my game! I'm actually thinking about having something similar made for my RL fireplace to hide the TV that's above it.

You have such a fantastic eye for design!

And, that little room? I have no idea what it would be used for, I would probably use it as a "catch all" closet area..... someplace to toss stuff to get it out of the way and for board games, winter coats and hats, outdoor toys, a broom for the porch, etc.

I am familiar with this little house, Marie. I once used it as part of a storyline I played where the town had a cast off, a Sim who was disfigured and didn't want to be seen. I added A LOT of trees to the lot.

I am always curious how the designers decide when a house looks good enough to play. Who decides that random sink in the corner is a good idea?! Your make over of this little house is sweet. I'd gladly move in with a cat and little dog maybe for company. bighugs2

Thank you so much.
TJ: The barndoors are part of the fireplace. It is made by Tinkle from BPS and you can find it here:

I can not see that she does not allow convert, so here's a link to her page.

I saw now that you had asked for a door to my wooden house, is it the glass door you mean? The one behind the dog. In that case, it was originally made for Sims 3.

Alouette: I also wonder who's entering the houses from the beginning.

OMG! TYSM Marie! You're awesome! I went to Tinkle's site and she says "Do Whatever You Want With My Files, Just Keep It Free!" Sooo woooHOOOOooo!! She allows conversions! Now hopefully it's not too hard to do! LOL

I found a beach house to which I wanted to build. But the ceiling could not be done as it looks in the picture so it became a whole different one. It's very hard to build a roof because you can not make them as big as you want.
