I had never heard of the sims game until I saw my 2 nieces playing it, I was hooked completely from that day on, this began back when it was just the TS1, I bought the whole set, and had just got started when TS2 came out! so I started playing this, and am still playing it today, I did try TS3 but did not take to it, and I have got TS4, which I do kind of like, and I do download some things for it! but I still prefer TS2 the most! danceani

My best friend at the time was playing Sims 4 when it first came out.. we were on voice chat and it got me interested. He help me install Sims 3 on my computer, and then we went through a bunch of CC together. I never been able to play a Sims game without CC ever since. giggle3

What is your very favorite part about playing Sims, SamSaraSuperLove?

There are still a whole lot of die-hard ts2 fans, Kela :D  How much ts4 have you played?

I'm with you, absolutely, Halamae, with regards to playing with cc...

...I simply couldn't enjoy the game the way I do without it!

...however, I do and don't get people who prefer not to do so...

...my oldest son doesn't, but then he loves to just play with the actual sims - he says cc makes it too difficult to just play. lol

Discovered the very first Sims about 10 years ago in the Philippines and I remember playing it at a computer place. I have all 4 and I play it every now and then. I mostly build and decorate houses!

You both, WashedupMermaid and Mcb181r (may I use MC as your name?), will find a lot of company here...

...getting back into the game AND building!

I've taken some time away from the game here and there over the years, but I always come back to it because it is something I love to do...

...I rarely play sims, though, I am definitely a builder! lol

It is really nice to meet both of you :D

I was fresh out of uni, tired and stressed, doing the housework. My son followed me around while I cleaned and straightened things up saying "mum, come and look at this, its cool, come on stop being obsessive just give it try."   I caved glad at the chance of doing nothing for a "few minutes". That was the sims 1. Now my son comes over and says things like (as he is taking a degree in IT) "Seriously? you are still playing that?"  And.. "Stop giving hours of work away and sell it!" On the other hand he is proud enough of my work to get me anything I need and boast to his Sims playing friends that my stuff is the best  (if they must play that lame game)   giggle

Oh yes, my brother is to blame  giggle .
Before I played lara croft
He gave it to me because he knew I'd like to build.
I always took the legosteine away from him as a child bravo .
I was totally fascinated. My husband then found a page, where there were already Downloads
With sims 2 was the collecting of dl totally crazy. There is no time to Play. Sims 3 was not so my Thing.
With sims 4 I arranged myself. Should sims 5 appear, I will not buy it. But I said that with sims 3 and sims 4 synonymous.
My friend can not understand that I'm friends with this sims already for years. I love my sims  :girlie5:

Your sons are so lovely Suzanne

Conny I love my Sims as well, and my friends now just give me a strange look and move on.

My daughter played Lara Croft as well!

My son played Lara Croft..... and I was fascinated when he played. The quickness with which he was able to move her around all the difficult spots was amazing!
I wonder if he misses her now that he is married? giggle

LOL!!! At least he and his wife are playing some games together..... but she is a novice and needs him to help her a lot!
So wish my hubby was a little more interested in what I do with the game.
