I think I would feel like I'd gotten a wonderful plus should I meet someone who loves this game like I do!

I'm already over the moon finding a whole bunch of wonderful people (here) who love it like I do!!!

Anita - you ARE feeling better!!! rofl301

A friend of mine bought The Sims 2 for himself but never liked it. So one day he just gave the game to me. I never played any serious game on the computer before (only things like sollitaire or those hide and seek games grin) ... From day one I was hooked. Not on the game it self, I almost never really play but finding things, figuring things out, making the sims, building houses, worlds ... love it. Now so many years later I have all 3 game (2,3 and 4) and it never gets boring. I love the way people keep making thing, sharing them and lol finding those thing you normally have to pay for but if you look really hard you almost always find them somewhere ;)...

I discovered when Sims 2 was out, and my twin played it a lot. I didn't get the hype until I started playing...and then started my Sims addiction, lol.

I bought 'The Sims' for the playstation 2 because I had read about it in a gamer mag and it looked like fun however I paid $100 for it and absolutely hated it and my kids didn't like it either. After a few weeks while my kids were at school I decided to give it another go because I hate wasting money and I was hoping to find something good about it to get my money's worth. I think after about half an hour I started to get into it and then I couldn't stop playing and when I wasn't playing I always thought about it. I then bought sims 1 for pc which then started a lifelong addiction. Really loved sims 2, liked sims 3 but sims 4 not really happy with.

Ah yes Lilipingi.... I adore the trouble free lives the sims can have!
I still love playing too though I do not get to do that so often anymore.... I must get back into the game.
I haven't even checked out the game play with the addition of the latest stuff pack. Just know that I bought it LOL

I discovered the sims during sims 3 I believe and have been hooked ever since. I started off interested in mostly building / architecture with sims 3 and now I have started to actually play the game more in ts4 because its not so hard on my computer :)

I first discovered the sims back when I was in third grade. My friends were playing sims 2, which had just come out. Ever since, I have bought every game of sims2, 3, and 4.

When I was 12 or so. we had a family friend living with us and SHE played the sims. I started playing it when she wasnt and then when she moved out i kept the games. This was with sims 1. Sims 3 was great but there was a period of time when I couldnt easily get to MAC compatible versions of the game and I only had a MAC. Now so glad its just a download. Makes life easier for sure

Me too!

I loved it right from the first day, and I still miss it.
Now I have moved on to Sims 4, I almost love it as much!

A lot of people knock EA, but if it wasn't for them, we wouldn't have our precious Sims bigsmile

The Sims (I guess it would be The Sims 1 now?) was my very first game set. It was a great way to relieve stress from a very stressful job at the time. As expansions were added and I discovered custom content...I was HOOKED. As my kids got older, (they are both BIG gamers) It was a good connection/conversation starter with them through the tween and teen angst years. We've played through all 4 versions of the game and The Sims 4 is the one we use now. (mostly because I'm a CC junkie and I don't have room for everything) My daughter and I still play and make up challenges for each other. All these years later and this is still my 'go-to" for de-stressing and clearing my head from politics and the crazy of life.
