Lorry your room is so fresh and spring like, I feel the sun shining through that window what a beautiful relaxing environment for their meals.

Debbie, I love how you've used great as your main colour with trading and modern blended elegantly together.

Melissa your shelves with all those nick nacks on to create a feature wall with the yellow behind is very clever, the mix of two styles is achieved wonderfully.

Annette your creative use of colour and successfully unites the two styles together presenting an enchanting room.

I wasn't going to do this as I'm currently working on 'Another Era', rebuilding and house for the Owen's and gathering ideas for a Lake house, oh and the BAD has just been posted. Good job it's school holidays and I have time on my hands to do all these little projects.

Yes! The great thing about these little challenges is, there's no time limit or deadline, so anytime you're bored and need something fresh to do, you can come do one!

Lorry, your room is striking in it's minimalism. It is very open and airy and makes me think if a room were made of sunshine and clouds your room would be it :)

Yes, I love the freebies. I actually didn't realize how many I had in there till I started tallying up, lol. I just pretended it was their own stuff reincorporated into the room, lol.

Thank you for the kind compliment on my room :)

Debbie, what a striking room!I love the mix of industrial (modern) and traditional you have going. Those gray walls are sleek... they make the colors in your room pop. You really have a great eye for color palletes.

Thank you as well for the compliments on my room and pictures. I agree, the dancing ladies were a perfect fit for the theme :)

Anneke, Thank you for liking my room. :) I love your room more though. It feels like an urban industrial loft accented with the traditional style yet you make it look so cozy like you can just kick off your shoes and chill. Love it.

Suzanne, thank you so much! The yellow is not a color I typically decorate with so it was a lot of fun getting outside my comfort zone.

As for the cat I was wondering if anyone caught that lol.

TJ, thank you very much for the praise :) I too liked the girls. I was so happy I had them because they fit my color scheme so well. Believe it or not they were not what I based my room decor around. My central piece was the rug :p The splashes of color around the room were pulled from that :)

Nikki, thank you! :) I'm so glad you and the others liked the wall. I was worried the shelves of nick-knacks would be too much.

Thank you, Anita for your support :D :D :D

I knowwww, but I have that creator mind! And, once I start to decorate, I ALWAYS want something for my house that I don't have, so I'm off to search if it's out there already and then when I can't find it (because changing my initial design idea to something else just won't do, ya know! LOL) so I end up finding something to convert instead, and I never get it done! LOL

Suzanne, I'm having trouble finding the recolor of my blinds, the original is this one from pixelshrine

http://www.pixelshrine.nl/download/mika-blinds-kidsroom/

My recolor version does not give the recolorist, but I will keep looking, it most likely came from a lot download.

Thank you, Lorry! :D

(you were correct, I do have that - I just did not recognize the swatch you used!)

I do so enjoy how you used them <3

Thank you, too, Debbie! :D :D

I hope you can track down the recolor - the original mesh and her recolors are so cool!

I found some recolors by other creators, as well...

...but not the ones you used ::

Nikki - Your room is wonderful and sunny and happy! I love that little rug and the yellow accent wall! Those floors are fabulous too! (I think I need them!! LOL) And the sideboard and mirror are beautiful and blend perfectly with the modern style!

You know girls, I was thinking .... maybe I should have done this challenge first before I set a price on the total! LOL Hmmmm, I will try to get to it this weekend. Maybe the next challenge the amount should be higher!

Nikki - I've never heard of that site before, Corporation Simstory, do you have a link handy you can share? I'd love to check it out sometime! Thanks in advance!

Yeeehawww! I found it! But, for anybody else who wants to see her site, it's here Corporation "SimsStroy"

Ok, I lied! I have been there before! This is the site that Anita found her beautiful wicker chair that isn't available! When I went thru her site earlier while helping to search for the chair, I never paid any attention to all the other wonderful things she made!

Nikki, Your dining room as to die for!! I love the softer tones of yellow. It gives the room a very calm feeling. The sideboard you used is complimenting the room brilliantly!
I love your style and will visit this pictures again and again!

That is Natatanec (Corporation Simsstroy) :D

Yep, TJ, that is the site where Anita found the chair (I never did hear from her; however, now that she's back and creating again, maybe she will see the message I sent to her YouTube) <3

The new walls and floors are simply lovely - I'm so glad you used them in your build, Nikki, as they were a great choice for your build.

(I think I have just about everything she's done, myself, lol)

Thank you, Crissi, for my beautiful signature <3
