I'm not a player so I can't really say. I mostly decorate or create. Have only played a little bit actually.

Now, if you're asking out of ALL of The Sims games, then I'd have to say TS3. It pretty much had everything I would want ..... CASt, seasons, pets, university, beaches, terrain tool, world edits, spiral stairs .... and this list goes on! LOL (But, TS4 is a LOT less laggy!)

Other than a few people that create and recolor other Sims items for Sims3 and Sims4..and I would love to have a lot of those recolors other than that I am onstrike with any of the other games..I will never play the others..nope no way no how lol onstrike

Thank you so much Crissi, it's beautiful

I've played Sims 1, 2 and 3. I think best about sims 2 but that's because I know how everything works and has 14 GB download I've tried sims 3 What I like extra is that your sim is becoming more unique . But sims 2 will I play as long as I can or play is well the wrong word for now I build houses and decorate them.

I also have all the sims games......
Each one of them had something very special to them and I enjoyed playing it.
I only created for the sims 2 and now for sims 4. As far as that is concerned I find it easier to create for the sims 4.
But, when it comes to playing....I played all four games. I loved all four of them and were quite sad when I decided to move on. I still have the older games and even all my saves!
But, for now,I am quite content to only have the sims 4 installed.

I would say S3 overall. I only moved to S4 because of the system issues I had with 3. If only they could do S3 but with the ease of use of 4 they would have an out of this world game, lol.

That is true Melisa!! I would love that too.
I just wonder why the creators of the game are reluctant in doing just that??

I'm thinking it boils down to the formula of available technology and maximum yield. Affordable technology that can attract players even with low-end personal PC's. I think it stinks but that is company mentality and I suppose if I have to be reasonable *bleh* then it makes some sense.

I adore the Sims 2 but everything is much easier in the Sims 4. I couldn't get into TS3. To each their own! glasses5

Hi NadiraC,

I have the Sims 4 and the Sims 2 games. So far, Sims 2 is the winner.

I enjoy Sims 4 a lot but the game play seems a bit off for some reason. I wonder if it's because you really can't build a neighborhood with lots of houses and shops. I want to see all my favorite houses 'in place' when I open my game.

I love them all differently, but Sims 1 was probably my favorite, specifically the makin' magic expansion pack, I would send hours laying that as a kid and making magic money to move into those old haunted houses!

I played Sims 3 non stop........I loved the Firefighter Career, especially when they get to bring the fire engine home. Lol I was like a little kid, it was awesome

I played Sims 4 a lot when I first installed it, and I really liked that as well, perhaps not as exciting as Sims 3.
I have played a little when Toddlers were introduced to Sims 4, they are so incredibly cute.

I couldn't get into Sims 2 game play, probably coz my first Sim caught fire and died, I was so shocked I didn't really ever play much after that

Overall, I'd say sims 3, I feel there was alot more to do for the simmies there.
At first when I tried sims 4 I kept going back to sims 3. But then I said to myself why not give sims 4 a serious try instead of
comparing it to the sims 3 all the time and focus what it lacks in comparison with sims 3
And somehow after giving sims 4 serious try and a few expansion packs later I found it hard to go back to sims 3, I think because of the graphics.
So I decided to stick with sims 4 and finally deleted my sims3.

I was really happy when the toddlers finally arrived in sims 4, they are way too cute.
but I can't really get used to the loading screens everytime you want to visit a place.
I miss that sims could just hop in the car and go to any place they wanted and see them drive through the neighbourhood.
but other than that I am quite happy with the sims 4 now.

I think I may have played sims2 also, but that was such a long time ago...I don't even remember lol

Talking about Sims One.....I loved it to play when the Superstar (was that the name?) was released!
Oh the glitches they had when singing or being a runway model!!
Thinking about that.....sims 3 had something similar but not nearly as funny.
I still think all the games had something very special about them....that is why I am still totally addicted after all these years!!

TS3 was my favorite but looking back I played the Xbox game with the Black Eyed Peas a lot more than TS2 or 3. Now I play TS4 almost everyday so I guess 4 wins now. It's hard to go back and play on the laggier systems.

Oh this is so tough D:

I remember spending hours on The Sims when I played it often making my family in it and seeing would our sims self would be up to.

When the Sims 2 came out, I was like WHOA 3D.  It was the most active I had been in the Sims community since the content grew and grew and I just downloaded everything I liked.  Seasons and pets were incredible, as well as having actual CARS finally to drive unlike in The Sims where you had to trap the car on the lot lol!  Nightlife blew my mind and seeing the Sims pull out was amazing.  Lot of hilarity too with legacies in the community and I've read so many.

Not to say that Sims 3 didn't have that either, it really opened the door for something new: world exploring without any loading screens and the easy customization for clothes, hair, makeup, etc., which I think made it easier for CC creators.  The only issue was that it had some problems in the programming, making it bloat with the memory causing computers to lag left and right as well as crashing.  Mine sadly did it so much and even though horses were a great plus, I just didn't play it so much.

So when the Sims 4 came out, I saw how it reminded me of The Sims 2 but a slightly bit better.  Though it wasn't complete as I and others hoped.  It loads up the fastest compared to Sims 2 and 3.

With that in mind, my favorite is the Sims 2 since it's still my all time favorite and the one I've played the most and it has Body Shop which is so badly needed when you just want to make sims.  I used to make so many by just opening it and going crazy so I could skip making it in the CAS screen.   I still have all the downloads I had downloaded even during the time Sims 3 came out.  Even though I play Sims 4 more so now, Sims 2 is what I always go back to.

Eek I rambled on too much lol.

I've played The Sims 2, 3 and 4 and liked all 3 games for different reasons.

The sims 2 because of the amazing cc that was created for it. The only negative was the huge amount of gb's in my downloads folder, for every color had it's own file.

The sims 3 because of Create a Style. I also loved playing the Sims 3 because of the way you could travel without loading screens. It's just a shame the game took me an hour to load and kept freezing on me...

Today I play the Sims 4. I love the building options. But I do have some frustrations. Like the totally ugly stairs that I can't even recolor. If only the Sims 3 would run smoother I'd go back in a heartbeat :)

tantemir sometimes I think I am the only one that never had an issue with Sims 3.....I played, decorated and built houses, I never had a crash. I loved the game so much right from the start....that is except for the graphics hmmm

I have always had a good graphics card, but Sims 3 pictures looked awful nearly all the time.

The Sims 3 forced me to get a new graphics card one time :) I loved building farm houses, complete with stables. I hope Sims 4 adds pets soon. I still have the Sims 3 completely installed on my computer for the days I really get nostalgic and have to play it :)
