It does look modern, but if you are wanting it to be ultra modern I think it has too many lines going on, too many different textures, if that makes sense. That is the only thing I've come up with.

Hi Patty - What a great album :D

I love both of your first builds - you have a way of bringing everything together with great attention to detail and color work.

As for the last build - I'm happy you decided to move it to a larger lot - the fencing wasn't working for me when I viewed the pictures.

I agree with Alouette, though - while this house is a great start to ultra modern, there are a great many things going on which detract from the stark simplicity of the style. There is nothing wrong with the build - I think it just needs a bit of tweaking in the structure.

Lorry's suggestions regarding connecting the rooms also have a great deal of merit - connections between spaces are important.

Also, I believe when you are finished and have added landscaping, this build will be another amazing one...

...you are very good and I'm truly happy that you've not only chosen to share your builds with us but that you trust us enough to ask our opinions.

I know for myself, that doing big, complicated builds takes a really long time and that sometimes they feel off... I trust that feeling in myself and will resort to asking friends here and looking on Google to see if I can figure out what I've missed.

Otherwise - I cannot find anything off and I just love the touch of wildness the canopy over the pool evokes - I like the first one better - it fits your build style more than the second one, in my opinion.

Thank you, Crissi, for my beautiful signature <3

Hi Suzanne, thank you for your compliments.
You're right, Lorry gave a very good suggestion: the connections between the various environments are important and made me think so solving my problem, but when I went to make this home I wanted to create something out of the usual patterns. As far as the structure to be simplified I am working, thank you all for your opinions, discussing with other people makes me think more clearly.
Good Sunday I have to go to work now. :welcome4: thau Iagree2

Hello, I wanted to show you my favorite home: Montague Home
If someone tells me: choose one of the houses you've created and we'll build you that one and just choose this one.

It is a wooden house with a beautiful front porch, on two floors, large garden, patio, pool and greenhouse. Living room, dining and kitchen in one large room, laundry and pantry, a bathroom studio and two relaxation rooms with tv, billiards and game tables. Four bedrooms, a bathroom and a nice covered terrace upstairs.

I put almost two months to create and decorate it, doing it and blowing it down until I saw it perfect (at least for me). I hope she likes you too.

By everyone.

Patty, it is evident that you spent quite some time with this house.
You have not only decorated it beautifully, you have succeeded in showing us that your "people" really live in this house.
Love the attention to detail.
I would choose this house too!

Here I am still here, THIS TIME FOR SUPER BRAG, INDEED, SUPER SUPER BRAG.

THIS HOUSE HAS BUILT MY 10 YEARS NEPHEW MARCELLO.

He always comes to me to use the computer and sometimes he looks at me while I work at a home. One day he asked me: "Auntie, if you help me build a house and the places where you put yours say someone will kick it down?"

He chose everything he did, the shape of the roof the windows door the various types of flooring and wall decor and how to place it. It's his first home and I have to say that he did a great job for me. I am very proud of it: over MTS already has more than 640 downloads.

What do you think: a future architect?

I too wish to congratulate the young man with this fabulous build!!
Wow, Patty, you must be very proud indeed.
He chose just the right window for the kitchen..... he captured the view to perfection!
He is indeed a great architect, and has talent for interior decorating as well!

He is going to be hooked to the game very soon!

Thanks to all of them, I am really very, very, very proud of Marcello. slowdance

He is a very lively and intelligent kid (though sometimes he is stubborn than a goat) he already has very specific ideas about what he likes and what he does not do in a home, sometimes while he is sitting next to me giving me his opinion on what I am doing. budhug

As I said before, I am very, very, very proud of him.:wohoo:

When I'll show you your comments will be very happy, thank you again to all of them ty thau grouphug

Here, I finished the house with the yellow dining room. I tried to give the same atmosphere in the rooms, I hope to be successful. It is a first outskirts cottage suitable for a young couple without children. What do you think?
