My favourite comedy would be "The Vicar of Dibley", but there's probably no chance of rebuilding it the way I want it.

Okay, gang, I'm going to start following this until the proper category comes up for me (snicker, chortle).  I haven't followed any broadcast tv for so long I literally cannot remember what - if any - I did follow.  I watch cable news channels until even ONE more political item comes up on the news (and I've had my daily fill)...and then I flip over to American Pickers and Pawn Stars (and the History channels but they'll never qualify for what I watch there). With all of my clutter items I could do a great cluttered house/garage/barn for Pickers...or a pawn shop!  :rofl301:

Oh Anita, what a fabulous idea for a contest. I won't have time to do this one, I've been having major problems with my internet service, they've been out 4 times since the end of January, hopefully they finally have it fixed, but I simply won't have time to shop and build. Looking forward to all the entries though!

Hi you guys! Is this contest too much for you?
I would feel so bad if we were to have only one entry..... please feel free to enter even if your version would not be an exact replica.
It would be awesome to see what you can put together.
And it would make my day! :smile201:

I watched my DVDs and found a sitcom and have taken some pictures, but I get no inspiration because I think the pictures look so boring, but I'll try again and find something better.

*blush*  Thank you both.

That back wall was created with a combination of three different sets: Buggybooz's Nooks and Niches, Awesims Fireplace slaved to the Buggybooz set and Leefish's Bookshelf build.

Initially they didn't want to play well together at all.  So I took them over to my desktop and showed them the Recycle Bin.  We had a nice discussion about what happens to mods that don't get along in my game.  I let them think about their life choices for little bit and then put them back in game.  Some building cheats and a few OSMP's later, I got them to work.  Never show fear to your custom content, you have to take charge and let them know who is boss.

In all seriousness, it was the cause of much frustration and had to be hand aligned and stacked because they were not designed to integrate with each other.

May - I LOVE your entry! It is spot on! And it's funny cause Bewitched was my first choice to do mine in. One because I always loved that show, and two because I love that era of furniture and there is so much retro CC out there it would have been easy. But I decided on a different show.

But, wow! You did an amazing job recreating it! I too am blow away by the wall cut outs! Outstanding!

Chynna:

Holy cow such attention to detail.  It's like you took the dining set right out of the show and plopped it down in the game.  I love the little paintings on the back wall. I'd use them in my witches and fey homes but sadly I play Sims 2, not 4.  Great job!

Marie:

Really great entry.  I love all the little details - like all the magazine clutter on the lower shelf of the coffee table and the chips/soda on top.  The plant in the back is pretty much identical. The couch was a great match too.  Did you find it or did your recolor the couch?  On the books shelf with the games on it, is that something you put together or did the shelf already have them on it?  Really awesome job with the room.

May and Anita: Thank you so much
May: I do not remember where I've found that color but usually I find something nice, so I usually googel to see if there is any recolor.
I do not usually use "finished" bookshelves, I think this is good when it has slots otherwise I usually build my own shelves. (I'm a big book lover IRL).
Your entry is wonderful and I want to see more photos from you. However, this is not a series I have heard if it has probably not even been broadcast in Sweden.
Chynna: Your entry is so similar to the original, great job.

Marie - You did an OUTSTANDING JOB! Seriously love how you always have the perfect clutter to make it appear real! And you matched your sitcom perfectly! Right down to the Pepsi can and food on the coffee table to the grandfather clock!

And "Bewitched" the show May chose was popular back in the 70's or 80's I think. It was about a witch who married a mortal man, who didn't realize she was a witch at first. And her mother didn't like him so she was always causing trouble. And, when he found she was a witch he tried to make her act "normal" because the neighbors were talking and watching them. But every show something happened weird in and she would have to use her witchy ways. It was pretty comical and one of my favorites!
