Yes, I will always create for TS4 because it's so easy.

But, I still struggle with the look of it. It seriously makes me cringe when I look at the outside world with it's exaggerated painted-on bright green grass and blinding blue sky and all the fake plastic looking textures on the tree trunks, water, and rocks. And I know I can get mods to replace this texture, and that texture, and so on, but the thing of it is, WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO? I mean seriously! This is the 4th version of this game, and this is the ONLY one that looked like a cartoon world.

Sure, I can adjust the look of the outside so it's not so bright and cartoonish looking with Re-shade but then inside all of my textures are dull and colorless. And the ceiling KILLS ME! I don't know how these people get their ceilings white in all these preview pics unless they photoshop the heck out of it, cause my ceilings are not white! They are gray-ish purple and darker than the walls, or if I use the no-blu mod then they're a dull brownish gray, but they are for sure not white! I spent all day yesterday messing with my reshade settings trying to get a happy medium between the outside and the inside. See I play with my walls up and I see the ceiling, so that irritates me. LOL

I totally agree chicklet! I really dislike the cartoon aspect of the game. I love these pictures though, thank you for sharing them :-)

And I agree with you, not only on the cartoonishville they've created, but you'd think by now they would know what content we are really looking for and manage to give that to us from the start. Instead we spend half of our time hoping someone else comes along and creates something wonderful, in the way of CC, and the other half hoping that the next pack will meet our expectations. But, in the end, we all love the Sims and happily buy the next pack, always maintaining that hope, LOL!
