I love most your old, time-worn houses, like Cuckoo Lane and Artful Dodger. I have two stories bubbling in my head, one based approximately on 1940s wartime England when so many children were sent from London to the less-targeted countryside. My idea is to follow a group of those children, dropped separately into completely unfamiliar households, and see how they do. Anything from that era--a cottage, a shop, a community lot, anything--would be fantastic, and I can't even tell you how happy I would be! Thank you so very much for offering!

I can do 1940s war time houses... That inspires me.
We still have lots of those in England! I'll make one for you. Shops were not good because of rations, but maybe that's something to think of too. Watch this space!
