Provence Painting Collection Part One
Provence Painting Collection Part One
I initially made these paintings for one of the houses I am busy decorating..... but then I got hooked up and made far more than I would be able to use in one house.
I thought I should also share them, since you may also be able to put some of them to good use on an empty wall in one of your houses.
For this first part I used the blank mesh: long canvas by The Numbers Woman. You will have to get the mesh for it to show in your game HERE

Thank you everyone!
For the next update I will take some in game screenshots.... I just checked them all out yesterday and was too lazy to take a proper screen shot.
But they do look lovely in game!

Re: Provence Painting Collection Part One
Sam,
I love all of these wonderful paintings so I hope some wonderful gamer will do this for our members.
My muse is storywriting and music so I wouldn't even know where to begin. I did download Simpe
last year and once again found I have no interest in graphic arts.
So, we can wait together hoping to hear some good news.

Re: Provence Painting Collection Part One
lol I used SimPE one time to change a last name I misspelled..it turned out to be real easy..
I would love to learn to recolor..but it scares to me death on these programs..you have no idea how many Recolor, Meshing, Creating, and all that I have printed out just so I can learn but when I look at all those pages and then go into SimPE or any other program I go into panic mode..
And so we wait..

Sam, I feel the same way. It seems so scary. I did try once and I actually colored a chair. Then stopped and have not been back. I don't think I even saved my masterpiece.

Re: Provence Painting Collection Part One
Hi,
I love these paintings so much and have been a bit sad that they are for the Sims 4 game.
Then I remembered that there is a way to put them into the Sims 2 game.
Follow these steps!!!!
1. Copy whatever picture or painting you would like to see in your Sims 2 game.
2. Paste the picture you copied into your paint program such as Photo Shop.
3. Resize it to 600 x 725 - OR - 800 x 600. I am going to try a smaller size to see if that works too. It should, I would think.
4. Save as a jped file.
5. Place the jped picture in the Sims 2 Paintings folder NOT the download folder.
When your sim has enough creative skills accumulated he/she can select “paint custom painting,” then choose the image to paint which would include the painting you dropped into your painting folder.
When complete – move to the wall. You can add a frame around it if you want. frillen at modthesims has a nice selection of frames in different designs that are nice: Here

Sam,
I know. Isn't it wonderful. Don't forget to place the resized jped pictures in the Sims 2 Paintings folder NOT the download folder.
