TS4: Farmhouse Chic Dining Room

Hi all!

I'm back with another WIP I've finally gotten around to finish.

 

Let me apologize for most of my creations being on the farmhouse/rustic style. I just bought a 1920's Craftsman style house last summer and it has these wonderful built-in cabinets, hardwood floors, and huge windows with large window panes so it's not the least bit modern! LOL

I do a lot of searching for decorating ideas for my RL house and I tend to be drawn to the warm, inviting look of the neutrals and whites in the farmhouse style which is why my designs always seem to lean in that direction. I swear I'll create other styles, I have a few things I'm currently working on that are different.

My SIMspiration came from two pics I found on Pinterest. It all started when I fell in love with this rustic ladder with the elegant chandelier (well, actually I loved the entire room!)  My dining room table is kept pretty year round with decorative scalloped plates and water goblets as part of my decor so the table in the SIMspiration pic also appealed to me.

I made the ladder and light months ago but never finished the room.  While searching for farmhouse decor ideas for my RL house, I came across this hutch and loved all the decor in the room, I knew a china hutch like this would be perfect with the ladder and chandelier I had already made.
