Okay, HP systems are PC's so you would choose from the top two groups (you do not need any of the specialty versions at the bottom)...

...which version you choose, though, depends on if your system is a 32bit or a 64bit system.

Here is how to check...

First, go to your start button and search Command

You will see Command Prompt - select that to open it.

Depending on your Windows OS version (I have Windows 10), you will either get a box to type in the dxdiag command or it will open a window (the black one) like my picture.

Enter   dxdiag   and click enter to bring up the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.

You will see in the bottom line of text which system you are running - 32 or 64 bit.

So, after you determine if you have a 32bit or a 64bit system, that will narrow down your choices.


First, decide if you want the newest/beta version (red version in my picture). There may be bugs with this version as the community is still testing it.

If you do not want to chance bugs, pick the older version (blue writing in my picture).


Second, if you don't mind directly installing from an exe file AND your internet/system/firewall will let you, you can download the correct exe version.

If you feel more comfortable with an automatic installer version, just choose the correct msi version.


Either the exe or the msi downloads will load the application to your computer upon opening the file (double click).

Most of the time, I download exe versions, but the msi versions are available for people who don't want to download those versions, or are unable to download exe versions.
