Ceiling Roses

Yep.......Ceiling Roses.

With all the talk about having ceilings in sims 4 I checked out those made by Snowhaze
You can find the ceiling tiles made by her here.
You need to have her ceiling for this ceiling rose to work.

I played around with it in my game and that made me think of having ceiling roses.
And what the heart wants the heart gets....

I cloned a EA ceiling light, you will therefore find it under ceiling lights.
But, it is not a light, and does not emit a light. It is ceiling deco.
The ceiling rose will snap to the ceiling by Snowhaze without a cheat.
But if you want to add a ceiling light to it, you will have to activate the MOO cheat.
The light will then snap to the center of the ceiling rose.

Once placed you can not change the placing. If you need to adjust you will have to delete and buy a new one.
Fortunately that will not cost your sim an arm and a leg. And you will be amazed by the LOW LOW polys!!

You can also change the size of the ceiling rose with the [ ] keys.

The ceiling is not the exact same color as the walls, but for the presentation it works fine.
I have resized the ceiling tile to the desired size. This is the ceiling tile made by Snowhaze.

EDIT: I have discovered today that the ceiling rose only works fine in game if used with the ceiling tile by Snowhaze.
I am working on a new version to use without the ceiling tile by Snowhaze. I apologize if any of you wanted to use this only to find it did not work. I will add the new link as soon as I am done.

LOL< Suzanne. I was also like.....hmmm which house will benefit from having a different color ceiling.... so I went and changed in a number of houses.
The ceiling roses really look great in game.

Of all the creators here, you would be the one I would pick to make ceiling medallions. The details of these and the houses built 100 years ago is so breath taking. It makes me giddy with joy you were able to make these. Thank you, Anita! They'll make a beautiful addition to so many homes.
