Re: TS4: Ryecroft House
I chuckled at the photo with the dog at the table too, Anita.
Lisa, I love your first home in TS4 you've shared with us. It looks exactly like the houses I've seen on Escape to the Country on Netflix. The homes on the show make me envious of the people who get to live there and buy them. They are what I'd love to live in... a proper period home with fun, quirky character.

Oh Alouette I love that show! The houses are so different to where I live, and I think based on that, it can influence how you build and decorate in the Sims. I couldn't build a country house to save myself

As much as I loved the cc in ts2, and the terrain manipulations of ts3, I absolutely love, Love, LOVE the stability of ts4.
I had exactly the same reactions a both you and Lorry, Lisa...
...now, I wouldn't give it up unless there was something more stable and even better <3

Re: TS4: Ryecroft House
Absolutely gorgeous! You did a fantastic job! Especially for your first time! Heck, I can't even remove a wall and replace it somewhere else without the ceiling not appearing in TS4!
Where do you find such wonderful walls? That's one thing I miss about TS2, there were such fantastic walls and floors, and what I find for TS4 is too bright and "happy" or the bricks look fake and the wood looks plastic. I had seriously thought about converting TS2 walls that I love to TS4 but Sims 4 Studio locks up every single time I try to go under the build section (which is crazy because I have way more objects to load than walls and it doesn't do it for them)

Re: TS4: Ryecroft House
TJ, check TSR and modthesims for walls...
Also, just google, "the sims 4, walls"
There are a lot of maxis match type stuff, but also a lot of much more realistic type of walls that don't have that weird pattern effect. Sometimes some walls are cool in small spaces. I find I have to try and see a lot :D

Suzanne - Ohhh good idea about MTS, I haven't checked there, but I did snag some good walls at TSR. And, haven't really searched google for them, so that'll be my next hunt

Re: TS4: Ryecroft House
Thank you for the comments, I'm happy you like it
TJ, I'm so sorry, I forgot to answer about the walls.
I hunt a lot for walls, lol. I make some too, but I find it hard with sims 4 studio. It was so easy with sims 2. I keep practicing though.
I use a lot from Hvikis, Rirann, Granny zaza, Raizon, Sanoysims half life walls.....those are my favourites.
